I have been a Shatila customer for the last 18 years. Last week I went and ordered 5 trays of the baklava after going home and opening one box we found it was over done. Called Shatila and the lady was very rude, first and foremost she didn't accept that there was a problem with the baklava.Their quality has gone... More

Dearborn is known for its mid-eastern restaurants and bakeries, and Shatila deserves its great reputation. The best baklava (walnut and pistachio), but also has a huge variety of other mid eastern and 'French' pastries. A must visit!

My son had been here before and even though he describe the place you do not realize what a unique place this is until you walk in the door. We sampled and purchase the ice cream first. Then we took our time looking over the Greek and French pastries selections before we took a number to make our final purchases.... More

Shatila is a must for our family every time we come to Dearborn. The pastries and baklava are the best I have ever had! The service is always so friendly and so helpful. I also enjoy the ice cream as well!! It is beautiful inside and very clean.

I was given a generous taste of the ice cream and came away with two different flavors......plus the balavas.

It's worth a trip to just sit in the large central area of the bakery and take in the atmosphere. Beautiful palm trees with twinkly lights & create a wonder ambience. The pastries are delicious and visually stunning. The price is very reasonable. Lots of fun! highly recommend!

This was part of our yalla food tour- perfect ending. The lady behind the counter overheard me saying that I was going to try making lentil soup. She gave me a generous sample and helped me with the ingredients. Great bakery, gorgeous bread and fresh treats. nice!!
