The Hudson Cafe has an awesome breakfast menu. Their coffee drinks are so good and the food is even better! I had the gluten free French toast. It was so, so good!! I would definitely recommend it, just be ready to wait.

We visited the day after New Year's eve and got there right before it started to get busy. As there was only two of us we only had to wait about 10-15 minutes before we are seated, other large groups had to wait a while. We had checked out the menu online and it looked great however when we sat... More

Yes! Cinnabon pancakes! This was recommended by the waitress (along with the corned beef hash and strawberry shortcake pancakes). They were delicious, of course. Actually, they were the best pancakes I've ever had! I'm a little embarrassed to rave over pancakes and give details but... imagine perfectly light & fluffy pancakes as you'd expect with crispy edges & carmelized cinnamon... More

The most difficult part of visiting a new city is finding a good place to eat. What's even more difficult is visiting a place with a group of friends, and you're in charge of finding a place to eat. Our hotel was about 2 blocks away from this neighborhood gem. Unfortunately for us, Detroit was experiencing colder than normal weather,... More

Had to wait for a group of 8 of us. Wait was worth it. Good was excellent. Best pancakes ever! Wife got the spiced tofu. Kids loved the pancakes too. Out the door with full bellies:)

Our family with teenage boys had a delicious breakfast from voodoo eggs Benedict, seafood omelet, southwest omelette with chorizo and a beautifully served yogurt parfait. Hearty and tasty! Very friendly and attentive staff topped off a great breakfast.

Visited on a Sunday morning knowing we would have to wait. That being said...well worth the wait! Our group had the Triple omelette, the Mexican omelette and the special of the day. All were yummy - also enjoyed the cheesy grits and raisin toast. We will return!

Friendly comfortable atmosphere. Can get a bit noisy but not so loud you can't have a conversation. Corned beef hash was top notch. Toast and fruit accompaniments were nothing special. Efficient servers. Give it a try if your looking for some good comfort food.

We've ate here several times while in the downtown area. The service is super friendly & quick and the food is delicious! It's our go-to breakfast spot in all of Detroit

Ate here before a Lions game. It was really busy, but we were lucky enough to be seated right away. Found the breakfast really good and the coffee just okay. Waiter was quick and friendly. No complaints.
