Got a Colombian cold brew here and really enjoyed it. They have soy milk too. The staff was very friendly.

each of the 2 times I have been, the staff has repeatedly touched their faces/scratched their facial hair whilst making my coffee... and after the rim of the cup was touched I couldn't drink it $$$
It's been too long since I've gone here and I'm really glad that I stopped in again. The place basically looks the same and I still enjoy that strong creamy cortado! I need to make regular trips to this place.
If you're in the Corktown area, hit this place and Slows BBQ or the corner grill down the block. Astro is so worth the visit and you'll be glad that you made the stop.

If you are looking for a decent coffee after being offered up dishwater then this is the place to come. Nice little venue with small but adequate choice and great coffee. I didn't expect to find a place like this in Detroit.
Pure espresso tells all about a coffee place--nothing to hide the raw truth. Here it is the best, surely in Detroit and at a world-class level. Try the chocolate banana bread, too; it's outstanding.
