Reading the reviews leading up to my Friday night reservation, I had concerns about poor service and food however after my night, I learned I had not reason to be alarm. Our server, Lina S, did a great job and was attentive and recommended favorite dishes. The food was tasty and it wasn't not cold. Hate to see them go... More

My wife and I went for dinner there recently. We had gift cards to burn and this place is closing on 02/18/17. Our server/busser were great - very attentive and very friendly. The place in general is a little tired, but the food was very good - I had a lamb chop/lobster/scallop combo that I was very pleased with. I... More

I took my family to Downtown Detroit to stay at the Marriott. We ended up having a food tour of Detroit. When it was time for dinner my wife asked if we wanted to cross Coach Insignia off of our bucket list. My daughter and I accepted and we were not disappointed. The view, the service, and mostly the food... More

We went to Coach Insignia on New Year's Eve after a wonderful show at the Fisher Theater. I have never been there before and other than having to search for the right elevator I have nothing to complain about. Service was impeccable, food was so wonderful and perfect. Mind you I know what is good, I have an awesome palate.... More

Dinner with friends for Christmas, started off good with cheese and meat board. The server was very knowledgeable of the wine and beer list. Offered a wine for a friend that is very difficult to please. My husband had short rib very fatty, wouldn't recommend. Our friends had fillet and steak special. Both were just okay nothing to impress. I... More

The best part of our meal was the view and our waitress (she was outstanding). The person who puts you on the elevator wasn't very friendly. The hostess barely acted as if we existed. Our food was good but not great. It's a great place for couples to enjoy a relaxing meal while overlooking the view though.

Fantastic every single time! I went solo this last trip. I got the last 32oz Wagyu in the house. Wonderful view and fine dining.

The top floor of the Ren Cen is the place to go to feel like a VIP in Detroit. It starts with the special elevator you have to take to get to the top. The glass walls give a great view of the buildings dropping away as you head 73 floors up. We were there for a sunset and was... More

We visited here in March for a special night out. The food was outstanding! I had chicken 3 ways and my Fiance had a steak dinner. We ordered coffee and dessert. Everything was outstanding! The server was ok, my only issue was that we were there for 2 hours, service was slow and the server really didn't apologies or check... More

My wife and I went to dinner at Coach Insignia for a Saturday night out. We really had a great time and enjoyed our meals a ton! I had one of the best New York strips I've ever had and my wife tried the Sea Bass, which also was very good. Service was impeccable....friendly and timely. The manager came by... More
