The top floor of the Ren Cen is the place to go to feel like a VIP in Detroit. It starts with the special elevator you have to take to get to the top. The glass walls give a great view of the buildings dropping away as you head 73 floors up. We were there for a sunset and was... More

We visited here in March for a special night out. The food was outstanding! I had chicken 3 ways and my Fiance had a steak dinner. We ordered coffee and dessert. Everything was outstanding! The server was ok, my only issue was that we were there for 2 hours, service was slow and the server really didn't apologies or check... More

My wife and I went to dinner at Coach Insignia for a Saturday night out. We really had a great time and enjoyed our meals a ton! I had one of the best New York strips I've ever had and my wife tried the Sea Bass, which also was very good. Service was impeccable....friendly and timely. The manager came by... More

Let's start with our experience on Thursday evening...8 of us for dinner with Mel taking care of us. Rarely have any group of people experienced such great service, wine, food and fun. Mel suggested a wine from the crazy over the top wine list and we loved it...no wine novices among us. Mel, how can you make a restaurant experience... More

I was here a week and a half ago with some friends that visited from out of town. It was a beautiful restaurant with a wonderful view but for the price I didn't think the food was completely worth it. I had a New York strip steak. It was extremely good just a little pricy for my liking since all... More

Although we had an early reservation; the hostess seemed confused on where to seat us.The view is spectacular and that's really what you are paying for. I felt the ambience seemed stark. The dining experience was less than desirable. I had to ask for a clean wine glass (lipstick residue) and a clean knife. The food was good, but not... More

My wife and I dined here one evening during our stay a the hotel. We started with the crab slider and flatbread pizza. The crab was disappointing, but is usual for restaurants in the midwest in my experience where they don't have ready access to really fresh crab. it make a real difference. The flatbread pizza was excellent. I ordered... More

The view is the thing. We had a completely clear day, blue skies to the horizon - perfect when on the 72nd floor of the Renaissance Center, on the river, in downtown Detroit. We were there for Happy Hour only, which is very affordable and features specially-priced wine, beer, and drinks. On the menu are also a small number of... More

The location is 72 storeys above Detroit with unbelievable views, the menu is large and includes a good drink selection, but the restaurant looks somewhat tired and was understaffed. Service was slow, and the staff members that were present were all quite young and seemed either frantic or indifferent. We only went for drinks, but had a poutine as something... More
