Limited food choices make picky eaters nervous. Don't want to order something they may not like. It took a while for the hostess to seat, and it seemed long wait for wait staff to take our order. It came as a shock when the waiter...More

I am spoiled because I live in Grand Rapids and get to enjoy all of the great breweries but this is by far my favorite. Great Atmosphere, Great Beer. This is an absolute must for anyone doing a Brewery Tour of the City.

I had a beet salad for lunch and it was not only a very attractive dish, the flavors and textures were great. Much more complex than you expect from 'bar food'. I have had the cheesburger in the past and it is one of my...More

My husband and I decided to visit based on the reviews. The staff is polite and personable. The food in my opinion left a little to be desired. Maybe I just ordered the wrong entree. However my husband got the special and he was less...More

I visited the Brewery Vivant on May 10th with several co-workers who had relocated to Grand Rapids from IL so it was a great place to wind down after a long day at work. Our server was very attentive considering we were a party of...More

Highly recommended by locals. When you walk in feels like an old time church or European Brew hall. (it was a funeral parlour) Beautiful high ceilings with exposed beams and pointed archways. Huge rap arounds bar in the centre of the room. The tables are...More

The place is fun, the staff is incredibly helpful and the menu is just so-so. If you like beer, it's probably worth having mediocre food for the beer. It's European, but I can still hardly ever find anything I want. Worth a visit.

We have tried most of the restaurants on Cherry Streets and decided to stop in. The service was good but the food was not as good as expected. For an appetizer, we had the Bone Marrow. For $12.00, it was not worth it. You can...More

Ridiculous. A myriad of Belgian beer, with literally one for every palate. The BEST burger in town...hands down. Don't argue. The BEST poutine in town, and a new spin every day at that. French inspired cuisine that can rival the most prestigious. Its the total...More

I had the Trippel with some duck confit nachos - delicious! The brewery in the old church creates a super cool atmosphere, which is enough of a reason to visit, but the food and beer do not disappoint!

Hello. They definately have a couple of smaller rooms to the right of the main front entrance. As the previous writer mentioned, this is a high demand establishment so call them.

Yes they do have both, heck out their web site which has the beer list and menu. You will not find main dish items that are gluten free but some appetizers and cider.
