While enjoying a day trip, prior to our first snow fall of the season, our first destination was Goodale's Bakery in Grayling. It's just a short 1 block off the Main Street thru town. And, very worth the time. We loaded up on Oatmeal Raisin Cookies, Apple cinnamon bread, a couple packages of Jerkey and a pistachio muffin. Yum-yum! Some... More

We stopped at this cute little bakery last Tuesday around lunchtime. It was a little crowded, but the ladies behind the counter kept things moving along great. They were out of the custard filled donuts and only had one apple-filled left, but they offered to go in back and make some more really quick. Very yummy & fresh! We also... More

Great selection of fresh baked goods. Bread, donuts, pies, cookies, and even fudge. Also a deli with hot entrees. Seating is available if you wish to eat in. Would recommend the pecan rolls.

This is a very popular, tasty bakery. The owners and staff are very friendly serving a variety of breads and baked goods. I had a wonderful cherry Danish for 85 cents.

We were hiking across the state and on our 5th day we were walking through Grayling and we're pleased to find a small home town bakery and were very pleased to see they had pumpkin donuts. They were quite busy so we were in line for a few minutes. The staff behind the counter seemed uninterested in helping us and... More

I love their deli meats! They have meat pasties ( there are like a two crust pie shell w meat and veggies),soups, sandwiches, and other dinners! Have baked goods (breads, rolls, donuts etc.) You can eat in or carry out! At lunch and busy times you do have to wait which is the only draw back if in a hurry!

Donuts, pasties, and deli items. All great! Friendly staff and good location downtown with plenty of area parking. Must stop on any visit to grayling.

We went to the bakery to get sandwiches for our canoe trip the next day. Basically you create whatever sandwich you want using the ingredients they have in their deli. I was going to buy some cookies but then I read the ingredients which included partially hydrogenated oil. I would expect better ingredients and products made from scratch.

the food is great, the prices are reasonable, the service is personable, and friendly. The box lunches we purchased were put together with the care you don't see much today. I would highly recommend Goodales
