The food was good, service was good. The Ruben Sandwich was really good. They also, have a nice soup bar, with some interesting decorations. They have a lot of different types of beer.

This is one of my most favorite places in Holland. I take friends and guests traveling here often. Highly recommended!

Great location in downtown Holland for soup, salad, or from the grill selections. You can also sit at the bar for just a drink. The corn chowder is amazing. Always busy in the summer months.

Their chicken corn chowder is legendary AND gluten free. They boast several local beer taps and classic diner choices as well as great burgers and entrees.

This is an old fashioned family restaurant. Nothing fancy. The service was perfunctory. Adequate, but nothing special. This is a "keep your fork" after the salad kind of service level. The menu is kind of like pub food, but they have three homemade soups (soup bar) that make the place sort of unique. This won't be the highlight of your... More

The Soup Bar is a staple, but the last few times it has not been the same. Lower quality. The owners of the Downtown Restaurants have cheapened their product.

A Friday lunch meeting with friends. A quaint pub located in the heart of Holland's down town. Holland has lots of free parking even when no parking is available near the restaurant. You may need to walk a bit, but there are interesting shops and statues along the way. Be aware that down town consist of one way streets and... More

This is a fun place if you're a beer drinker, and even if you're not. A huge selection of beer. It can be a bit noisy when it's real busy but the food is worth it and it's just a fun place. They also have outside dining in the back, some of which is covered. The service is good whether... More

Located on 8th street in the center of the historic Victorian business district, the grille is a wonderful place to sample the three soups served daily on the serve yourself soup bar. Add a salad or grill sandwich for a hearty meal. In summer, sit outside and enjoy your meal and adult beverage. My wife and I eat there two... More

The brews available and the full bar allow for the most discerning customer to find their taste. Soups are great for the main course or your starter. The soups are a unique niche for this establishment.
