Fantastic breakfast that offers a choice of fresh baked goods instead of ordinary toast. Atmosphere very updated American style

I had a great experience with extended family at Rykse's. I ordered the "Cilantro, Feta & Avocado Frittata". Way too much Feta cheese for me. Too much. My son ordered their famous cinnamon roll and we loved it. It is definitely enough to share among 2 or more people. I will not order the "Cilantro, Feta & Avocado Frittata" the... More

Rykse's has been a Kzoo favorite for years, but the college students don't know about it. That's a shame. You can't beat the cinnamon buns for a huge breakfast, yet the chefs and bakers have tried hard to focus on health and taste, balancing both. Plus this restaurant uses local produce. The wait staff are all long-term employees, which says... More

I ordered a lite breakfast of cheese and sausage omelet , a muffin, and coffee. All the other common breakfast combos were in the $10 range without drink. The service and the food was adequate and timely. Good coffee. Bakery entrance sets the smells of pastry in your mind. The small omelet was a good fit for my apetite. And... More

Have visited twice in the last 3 months. Food was very good and service has been timely and very friendly. Bakery items look awesome. They enjoy a great reputation in the area.

We had the lunch menu and they had a very large selection. Our menu was the 4 cheese grilled cheese and the vegetable soup. Super! Also this may be a good place for Senior Citizens since so many were there for lunch.

Four of us ate breakfast at Rykse's, and we all thought it was delicious. I had the lite French toast, which came with an egg and sausage and bacon. It was a generous serving, more than enough for a meal. The bakery goods in the front of the restaurant looked scrumptious, but we were too full to try any of... More

Well worth the drive if in the area. A cozy welcoming cafe, extremely clean and tidy. Tables and booths, nicely decorated, a very good variety on the menu , I've been only there for the breckfast foods. Baked goods look good, the peanut butter pie has won a best pie in Michigan award. They use real dairy products and the... More

Rykse's has an amazing breakfast menu! The cinnamon rolls are huge and delicious! I got the Denver scramble and it was yummy too. Portions are large and service is exemplary. The baked goods looked amazing on the way out but we simply didn't have any room left in our bellies! Very family friendly!
