The setting for this restaurant is an old house . . . The interior is like a cottage complete with knotty pine paneling. While I wouldn't exactly refer to this place as a fine dining experience, it was pleasantly rustic and/or quaint. The service was attentive. We enjoyed the perch dinner and the walleye dinner, which were reasonably priced, nicely... More

An old friend I reunited with took me here recently and, like a lot of things in life, one good thing led to another. My friend explained how this building was the original channel building for the active lumber mills in the area 100 years ago. The channel was re-routed some time ago, and this place became a fine restaurant/bar.... More

Four of us dined here in August, service was poor and the food was overpriced for what you got. We've decided to take this off our dining places.

This place was a little difficult for us to find but well worth it. The food was awesome and it's got that summer cottagey feel. Parking can be a challenge as it is an old converted house but once inside the staff is attentive, helpful and friendly. We had the perch and the walleye and they were great. We finished... More

Saw the place in passing and decided to come back for dinner. Sure glad we did. The place is an old house but don't let that fool you it is a quaint old restaurant inside. They seemed to be noted for have the best perch (aren't they all the same?) We ordered the perch and WOW, they have perfected the... More

My daughter took me for dinner here just this week. The restaurant has a quaint, homey feel with food that reflects that. Prices were good... food was great... and afterward we walked to the beach and watched the sunset. Wonderful evening!

Took a trip down memory lane and wasn't disappointed. Kirk and Cheryl still run a fine establishment. Perch to die for and the best bloody Mary's complete with their famous Dilled Brussel Sprout. First time I had this drink there 20+ years ago I thought "how original". Get there quick before you miss being served by one of the greatest... More
