Went for dinner on a Friday at 6:00 pm. We ordered fish. After 20 minutes we were told no lettuce , therefore no salad with dinner. After we received the fish, we were told no tartar sauce. They offered red beans and rice to replace the salad. After finishing the fish ,we were brought the red beans and rice. They... More

Husband and I picked Blue Gator for something different for date night. When we walked in it was slow, there were only about 5 people sitting at the bar and no tables were occupied. We ordered drinks and an appetizer while we debated what we wanted for dinner. When our appetizer came (with no silverware or napkins) we both asked... More

Recently visited the Blue Gator and thought it was a decent bar with great service. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive. This is definitely a younger crowd hangout but that is to be expected in a college town. I would recommend the fish tacos since they were delicious.

I chose this place for my husband and I to eat dinner due to there big selection of beers and there interesting menu. When we arrived everything seemed nice, we found a table and waited for service. It did not appear to be really busy and there were only 2 waitresses running bar and waiting tables. Once we ordered our... More

The gator bites were extremely good, the burgers were phenomenal, the drinks were cheap, and the service was perfect. Forgot the guy's name that waited on us, but he was extremely fast and very professional. Definitely recommend.

Great bar atmosphere in this college town. Large beer selection and very good dinner options for a local bar. We have been there twice and would return the next time in town.

M husband loves Cajun food, so we stopped for lunch. He was so happy with the jambalaya! Having lived a short time in Louisiana, he has become somewhat of a Cajun/Creole food snob and loved his meal. I ordered the Boom Boom Shrimp appetizer, which was prepared very well. The corn bread is also quite delicious.

Nice sports bar, perfect for that! When I went they were under construction, which kind of put me off when first entering because the only entrance had boards and saws, you name it, that you needed to maneuver around. I had chicken wings, husband had cheese curds and our son had a burger and fries. They all tasted great, the... More

I'm not sure if the owners have ever actually been to New Orleans.. Or anywhere near it, or if they've just read a bunch of books on Cajun food. Happened to be in the area and had always wanted to try it, I am sorely disappointed.
