This cooking and eating day was one of the greatest highlights of our month long stay in the Perigord Region of France. Our Chef was Ian who gave us great inspiration and great cooking knowledge throughout the day. Sara was his ever present assistant who made all things possible in a small kitchen. There were six students total, two of... More

Unfortunately, we did not stay at this breath taking B & B. Next time we are in the area we would stay there for sure. My husband signed us up for a cooking class. We arrived at their home and B & B at 9 am on a Sunday morning. Off to the market we went. We tried samples and... More

We stayed at Le Chevrefeuille bed and breakfast which was a wonderful experience. Our dinner there one evening was amazing and this was icing on the cake.

We stayed in one of the self catering cottages at Le Chevrefeuille for two weeks over the summer and ate at Ian's restaurant every night it was open. We absolutely love this restaurant, we've eaten here before and Ian, the chef, never disappoints. We love the set menu - not having to make a choice is so relaxing! - and... More

We ate here three times. Each time was a four course meal. From a superb confit duck, roast chicken to the fish on the final visit, everything was cooked beautifully. If we could have eaten here every night, we would have! They even went through the effort of creating a baby friendly version of our dishes so our 23 month... More

We were both looking forward to this after reading the reviews, but we were so disappointed , the meal started off very well with a cep mushroom and chestnut velouté which was rich but delicious , and then the main course, well we knew it was going to be duck , but the chef had deep fried this and it... We visited Le Chevrefeuille Restaurant having surfed TripAdvisor for a nice place to eat nearby. This was a wonderful find. This is probably the best meal I have had in a casual dining atmosphere. Ian & Sara have fulfilled the classic dream of moving to France and setting up their dream business. We only ate here (not stayed), but the... More

Ian and Sara were the perfect hosts for our day of cooking school. From the visit to the local market to preparing and eating our mouth watering food the day was well beyond our expectations. Ian is a natural teacher and was keen to pass on the knowledge gained as a chef. We both left left with that warm feeling... More

Doing the cooking course with Ian was one of the highlights of my stay in The Dordogne. Ian is a natural teacher and he knows how to cook as well. Would recommend this to anyone.
