We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday and our anniversary. The service was excellent. They had a drink special during our visit so we tried it. It was very tasty.

They lost whatever once put them on the map in the first the place. It's been years since the Benihana I grew up loving changed their menu and their ingredients and food quality.
Called Benihana's and made reservations for 2. We arrived a few minutes prior to our reserved time, checked in and was told, "I will call you when your table is ready" 30 minutes later my husband went up to inquire on our wait and when the person that checked us in looked at him she said "Oh!" which let us... So if you like salt and pepper shakers being slammed on the grill , spatulas used as a drum stick to a beat I have no idea where it comes from , you will like this place - I know I know this is the attraction and part of the meal . Our chef was new and not that entertaining... More
Made a reservation to go there with my family. Had to wait about 10 minutes to be seated. As soon as they served our sslad, my wife found a cochroch in hers. Told the waiter about it. He immediately took the salad away and ame back with the manager. With smile on his face he padded my back and said... More

We've eaten at this Benihani at least 25 times in the last 3 years, so I guess that qualifies us to be reviewers. It's a great place for family gatherings. Our multigenerational family of ten has celebrated many birthdays here and we never get tired of the showmanship of the chefs with their fantastic dexterity. Their Hibachi fried rice is... More
Had to visit this location due to last minute decision and unable to obtain a reservation at the Dearborn location. This location still has the retro Benihana look. Overall great dinner, Evan was our server who was on his game. Great service, thank you. Danny was the chef, not very enthusiastic, but how would you be if you cooked the... More
Booked 8:30 p.m. reservations. They explained that a group of 4 or more would require 18% gratuity. Also, if you are 15 minutes late, then your reservation would be released. I appreciate this information up front. I do not like surprises. The staff was great! Ander was a great chef! The waitress was also awesome. She gave her name but... More
Last night our party of three had dinner at BeniHana’s. Oh, where do I start?! We had a reservation and still waited over 20 minutes to be seated, apparently because they were trying to ‘fill’ a table and waited for another suitably sized group to happen by. Once seated, we waited another 20 minutes. Our party could barely hear to... More
