I swear I died, went to heaven, and was reborn anew. The Ziki Roll caused me to achieve enlightenment; it is perfection incarnate on a plate. Imagine a savory start, followed by the warmth and welcoming texture of freshly made tempura and avocado, finishing with the sweetness of mango and coconut. It's like an appetizer, meal, and dessert, in order, with every bite. Spend your money here and tip generously.

Easily the best sushi in Kalamazoo/Portage. I have never had a bad experience in the many times I have been to Ziki.

I love coming here on sundays because sushi is buy 1 get 1 for $1! There sushi is really good and fresh. I could probably eat 3 plate fulls of their dumplings. We go her probably every couple of months since it is still somewhat expensive.

We went here tonight "Friday Night at 5pm....there were only 4 other people in the place....Our waitress was Very hard to Understand....and their Menu has REALLY changed....NOT for the Better !!!! We wanted a nice "Meal with the Egg Roll, Soup OH NO....thats all single priced.....the "Dinners were starting at 18.99 up to 20 something each.....We ordered the Fried Rice with Shrimp....It came out HOT...and had Shrimp in it...the Rice was SO MUSHY...AND STICKY...LIKE IT HAD BEEN SITTING IN THE POT , THEY JUST SCOOPED OUT AND TREW SOME Shrimp in it....NO Snow peas...No Broccili....just tiny pieces of egg and peas and tiny carrots...NOT worth the 13.00 for sticky Rice...!!!!! Done bother wasting your money....2 men walked in turned around and walked right back out !!!!

This is the first time I tried this restaurant with a habichi steak dinner and it was fabulous. I will be back as decoration, tables and atmosphere are very nice.

Hands down the best sushi in this area. Great service and prices, alcohol is available for those who desire, but owners are awesome. Give it a try!

Our family loves Japanese food, especially sushi. We have had better and best dishes. Never bad. We love Ziki's presentations. Their dishes have delightful decorations or creative designs. Always beautiful and delicious sushi.

We have been visiting Ziki's regularly since shortly after they opened. The quality and variety of their sushi rolls is always impressive, and their presentation is beautiful. The owner always recognizes us when we walk in, and welcomes us with a smile and a personal greeting. We have introduced many friends to Ziki's, and everybody adds it to their own list of favorite spots in the Kalamazoo area. Their offerings also include hibachi & thai food, so if you have members of your group that don't care for sushi, they can also have an enjoyable meal.

Love this place!! We drive out of our way 1/2 hour just to eat here. We have tried almost all the rolls, but our favorites are Marlboro & Portage. We always split a Kani Salad. Leo & Ada are so nice, always takes a second for a smile & to say hi.

The sushi is amazing and is always very fresh. Service is superb and the servers are extremely attentive. Complimentary tortilla chips and duck sauce is served when you first are seated. Will go back again!

Food was ok, basic table service was fine. The problem is one member of our party had to wait for her meal to come out. Two of us ordered sushi rolls for our entree. My wife ordered hibachi. From the time the sushi rolls came out, she waited more than 30 minutes for her meal to come out. Waitress apologized; however, this wasn't a five minute wait. Very disappointed. A good manager would have come out to apologize.
What makes matters worse is that they weren't busy. I think I remember 3-4 other tables plus 1-2 take out orders while waiting.
