Went there the other night... all lights are off... no food available! The excuse was the exhaust fan failed. Then we asked for snacks... sorry we don't have anything in stock... but maybe Monday we might have some. As usual... three cars in the parking lot... tow of them are employees... and 1 regular drunk at the bar. This place... More

I brought a group of 15 friends and business associates in with no reservation and although they were busy we only waited 20 minutes (quick for an impromptu visit with 15 in the party) to be seated for dinner and why we were waiting for a dining room table we sat and stood up by the bar where they changed... This was my second time to visit here in the last three months. The first time the food was excellent and the service was great. However this visit was much different. Our party of ten waited over an hour for our food even though there were no other customers in the restaurant. After waiting quite some time the waitress offered... More

The restaurant has many issues and I would not recommend to anyone. As others have mention the services is terrible and slow. We had a party of six and the waiter could not remember anyones order. It took almost an hour for our food to arrive and then it came in over a 15 minute time frame. The first people... More

Friday Night not busy but the waitress was happy and helpful. My husband ordered the Friday night Fish Fry and I ordered the Blackened Ahi Tuna. So good. Cream of mushroom soup to die for.

My husband and I went on to try the food for the first time. We walked in and it was really nice and clean. Everyone was really nice... our server was very attentive. I got the prime rib (end cut) and it was sooo delicious. My husband had the ribs (full rack) and they were huge and the best he... More

I was really impressed with the excellent service I received, from the moment I walked in. The staff was very friendly and helpful! The bathrooms were impressively clean and well kept. And then there's the food! Everything about our meal, from the appetizers to the entree, was incredible! He had the ribs (to die for) an do had the chicken... More

I was really rooting for this place, as it is very close to our cabin. From the moment we walked in, we should have turned right back around and left. The rudeness of the people sitting at the bar as we walked in would usually be enough to send us packing, but we wanted to try the food. I ordered... More

Came across Chi-town by seeing their sign at the corner of 55 & Gladwin Rd. so went to check it out. We were hesitant to go in because there were only a couple cars in the lot at dinner time but knowing the rest of the options in Houghton Lake, we thought we'd give it a shot and were pleasantly... Asked for rare steak, yes, rare steak, but I at least expect it to be warm inside, not still cold. I should have sent it back, that was my fault, but went there for Mom's Day and didn't want to upset the rest of the our guests.
