I've been here many times and I love the schwarma, their hummus is homemade, and possibly the best I've ever had. I had dinner there and lunch. The portions are very large. The lentil soup is excellent. Everything is fresh and made to order. It's a family owned restaurant, and they're all very nice.

This unassuming, little family owned restaurant is located in a strip plaza surrounded by airport hotels. Pass on the overpriced, less than appealing fare offered by your hotel and visit Beirut. You will be greeted like an old friend and then be served very generous portions of tasty food. As they told me, most dishes are large enough to feed... More

Seemed to be family owned and family run. Our waiter was casual in appearance but very knowledgeable. We followed his recommendation and loved our meals. The booth we were seated in was very tight so dining in was uncomfortable. The mixed grill was the best.

Lebanese restaurant just north of DTW on Merriman Rd. in strip next to Holiday Inn Express. We have stopped here before picking up and dropping off family from the airport. Also handy if staying at the Holiday Inn for the Park and Fly staying the evening prior to an early flight the next day. The Beirut has never disappointed. The... More

Located in a strip mall a few minutes from the Detroit airport, you are not quite sure what to expect. Once you start dinner, you are in for a pleasant surprise. The waitress suggested we have the dinner for two with a few additions since there were three of us. There was more than enough. The tabouleh was very tasty... More

I picked up food to go since we were staying next door at a hotel. We ordered the Mixed Shawarma with Baklava for desert. We split it and it was plenty for the 2 of us. Pick up was fast and easy. The place is very small and they are busy if you are dinning in. I found the meats... More

This was a good stop only five minutes to the airport , right on Meriman. I love Lebanese food and no trip to Detroit is complete without Coneys, White Castle, Corn Beef sandwiches and Mediterranean or Lebanese food. The prices were moderate, the portions large and the sevice was pleasant. I had the sampler appetizer and it was ample enough... More

Customer service excellent, and the lamb stew fabulous, and chicken was done perfectly. They treat me like family!

I have never before tried Lebanese food so I thought I should give it a try. I ordered the shawarma dinner with a combination of beef and chicken. It was very good.

I paid 25$ for a take-out meal and barely was able to eat anything. The lamb was tough I kept yanking on it with my teeth to no avail. The grape leaves were drenched in lemon there was nothing you could taste but sour sour lemon. Etc. Every item in the meal was seasoned poorly and I kept throwing it... More
