Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Visited here with my wife and 2 dogs this evening and had a lovely meal. Staff all friendly and food delicious, we both had Sunday dinners and really tasted like a home cooked meal. Thanks for making our last dinner on our visit to Enniskillen...a great one👍More

We visited for an evening meal while staying in Enniskillen. Reviews said the restaurant was brilliant - and I have to say, it most definitely was! So good, in fact, that we re-visited the next evening to try other dishes on the menu! Our meals...were all top- quality and the owners and their staff were just great; nothing was too much trouble. On both nights, my menu choices were rainbows of flavours, so massive credit to the chef .More

Why there are 103 good reviews?! Definitely not worth the money. Let's start with the food... it tastes like it was bought from tesco and heated in the microwave. When the food came everything was super hot, so the first expectation was it was fresh...food, yeah? NO! The burger buns were dry, the lettuce was bad (maybe even spoiled), no sauce on the burger, very dry. The lamb and the beef looked and tasted terrible. It was chewy like it was standing for a week and then heated. We ordered potatoes as sides its was just hard rock on the outside. The chips soaked in oil and soggy. Seriously even pigs don't eat that bad 🥴 The restaurant (wouldn't call it that) staff was okay, it's a family business. But to look more professional guys don't wear gym shorts and leggings... and clean your muddy white sneakers. Overall bad experience. P.s. I'm definitely not a Karen guys, it's just to come from another country and eat heated tesco food in a restaurant which has 100 good reviews is not ideal.More

This lovely restaurant by a charming marina is run by the friendliest team and owners. We always pay a visit when we come home ( now living in Warwickshire) and it never disappoints. The pub style food is consistently delicious, the ambience beside the tranquil...lough is beautiful nestled beside beautiful countryside. Called here on 12/02/2023. As I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly waitress. Asked if I could have a table for two adults and two kids to which that was no problem. Ordered drinks and placed order. Food came out after a...short while and all I can say was it was amazing. My wife had the roast of the day and went for the turkey option, she stated that it was melt in your mouth delicious. Portions were fantastic too. My two kids had the chicken goujons and chips and they both loved them. I had the moorings burger with chips on the side, from The first bite I absolutely loved it. Lovely little kick to the burger. Was offered sweet menu after plates were cleared, seen they had banoffee pie so I could not resist, and my god it was worth it. Lovely and light and tasted amazing. Would highly recommend the moorings and I will be back again soon.More

Three stars because the front of house staff Carried the kitchen. Rump steak is not ribeye!! To put rib-eye on the menu and then serve seriously tough rump in its place is inexcusable. Not to mention trade descriptions! Our server was very friendly and this...alone stopped me from complaining, I now regret this because I’m sure the waitress would have heard it before. The starters were over cooked straight from the freezer and the dessert was almost adequate.More

Chose this place as one of very few dog friendly places in the area. The good reviews also contributed to our choice. Emailed ahead and response time was a couple of weeks! In the end I rang and booked. So glad I persisted we had...a fabulous lunch roast dinner yummy. Other meals great too. Friendly staff and efficient service. We would return if in area.More

We were boating on the Shannon River for the first time and experiencing wet weather, and looking for a mooring for several night. One phone call to Geoffrey at Moorings Marina and all our prayers were answered. Geoffrey could not have been more helpful. He...advised us on mooring, refuelling, geography and more. And after a cold day of cruising, we discovered the the Moorings Restaurant. What a haven this was. Great Irish draft beers, a coal fire and a stunning menu. The staff were wonderful, and so was the chef. The Tomato and Pepper soup drew universal praise. With our mains, which were great, we ordered “tobacco onions” - delightful crumbed small onion pieces. Seriously good. It is not often when you are far from home to discover a true haven of hospitality, from the marina staff to the restaurant staff. And Geoffrey is the orchestra leader. Thank you all for making our stay in Enniskillen so memorable. True Irish hospitality.More

We have ate here quite a few times and have been impressed however last Saturday evening we were disappointed. Staff were as friendly and courteous as before but we thought the standard of food had slipped. My wife ordered a side salad along with her...mains which when I seen it was a very poor effort, she said nothing but later confirmed my suspicions. My wife orders side salad regularly when we eat out but this effort was terrible, I would suggest a sliced boiled egg, maybe pineapple etc instead of the dry effort would be an improvement.More
