This is a bar and grill with indoor and out door seating. It is a older place, but is well maintained. I had the Saturday evening 16oz New York strip steak dinner. The steak was very tender. It included the soup and salad bar that is served in a box car attached to the building. Priced at $16.99 what a... More

We loved this place. Our family ate dinner here all 3 nights we were in town. The soup, salad and bread buffet was awesome. We added it to our meal each night. It was well worth it. Great value and great home cooking.

For a large restaurant which seems to have its act together, it certainly didn't for us. Most probably because of an extremely incompetent waitress. Things started off fine, with her coming to solicit a drink order within a few minutes of being seated. But then the bottle of wine we ordered never appeared. We ordered appetizers and the main meal... More

We were recommended by our hotel. The restaurant was super busy, but we had a nice table on the patio. The location is great. The service was a bit slow and I think the waitress was new as she didn't seem fully au fait with the menu/drinks menu. The food was fine, but my only criticism would be that despite... More

Sticky and dirty. First experience with whitefish and will not try again. Fishy tasting, no flavor and mostly bread on the sandwich. Best part about the place was the salad bar with fresh and crisp salad fixins. The other salads on the salad bar were tasteless and no good. Will nit go back.

I am nervous about eating at touristy restaurants because the food tends to be bad and pricey but we were really happy with our meal here. There are many teenaged girls working, they are slow and unprofessional, fortunately our server was older and very helpful and attentive, I could see other people were not as happy with their service. Everything... More

My family and I ate here after our return from the Island. Admittedly, we were tired and hungry!! Our server was quite friendly and accommodated us in taking our children's orders right away. My daughter had the children's fish and chips (which was VERY good). My son had the children's pizza - decent. My husband ordered the cedar plank fish... More

We walked into the restaurant and it took us 15 minutes to be seated with many open tables available. When we finally got seated our server did not come for 20 minutes. When she finally got there we ordered our drinks and food (because we had been waiting so long we ordered our food). Someone in my family went to... More

We enjoyed the view from the lakeside deck! Best part of the night. Food & service were just OK. We both had whitefish dinners, pretty bland & pricey. We'd try it again on another trip north, but would try for a sandwich. Others around us had burgers & we heard "oohs & aahs" about the flavor.

We stopped for lunch on our drive to the U.P. We sat out on the deck because it was a beautiful day and this was vacation afterall. This restaurant is right on the shore of Lake Michigan, but when we out on the deck, they had a tent erected for a wedding right in front of the view of the... More
