We found the restaurant on line and decided to give it a try. What a nice surprise!! The food was some of the best Mexican we have had in a long time. Definitely need to make the trip.

This is a nice small place we usually get take out from. The fajitas and quesadillas are really good.

The owners are some of the most pleasant people you'll meet. This is a small mom and pop Mexican restaurant which has excellent food. I love the Mexican tacos.

The food is wonderful. My favorite is the Pollo Monterey, which outclassed every other Mexican dish I have ever had. It is a calm family owned environment but you can still enjoy your libation with dinner. Best of all it carries the legacy of the Azteca Boxing Club in Pontiac via the name and logo.

This place is official. Not all hyped up commercially to draw clients, just good down home, straight from Mexico food. I have eaten in mexico, and tons of other "authentic" places, but this one steals the show. Everything from the service to the deserts is authentic.

The food here has been one of the best Mexican meals that I have had in quite some time. It has been in this location for about 6 years and the food is really good. It is fresh and authentic. The only down side that I can say is that the decor is not very fancy. But that is ok.... More

Everyone loved the salsa that was served with chips. The food was also very good. We will be back for sure.

After my first trip to Azteca's, I thought that I was really on to something... a new Mexican place with small crowds, low prices and good food. But my 2 subsequent trips have left me wanting. The menu is too restrictive. Here's my hint for you, try "Las Tortugas" on Van Dyke instead. Much better and much more authentic!

Anytime I ask around the office if anyone wants to go to Azteca's for lunch, all hands are raised! Folks at my company love the good quality food and the friendly service here. It is an extremely popular lunch stop for busy professionals because they can get you in and out fast if you need a quick lunch. The owners... More

We went here on the recommendation of a friend. The owner/operators Rey and Teresa do a great job of providing delicious authentic Mexican food in a simple atmosphere. The food presentation was beautiful as well. Normally I don't take pics of food but the combo platter had the sour cream artfully placed on the food and the sopapitas for dessert... More
