This has always been the 'go to' place for fish and chips, and the food today was ok. It was ok the last time we went as well, and we debated whether to give it another go or not. Been here dozens of times as...More
Popped in here for coffee after walking the dog this afternoon. I have never seen a pub so packed at 230pm on a week day afternoon. The place was heaving with diners eating so must be a good place to eat. Whilst we only had...More

There are facilities in the garden area where you can take dogs and enjoy a meal but inside, like most other restaurants, unless it is a service dog or a guide dog, then I'm pretty sure they wouldn't be allowed. They open at 11am and their phone number is 01797 320314 so it might be worth double checking before you go. You can be assured of an excellent meal when you go there though.
