Very welcome after a chilly but nice walk. Advance orders meant the food came out quickly (again welcome as brekki for me was many hours before). Pleasant staff, food attractively served, piping hot where it should be and plenty of it. I had the cheese...More

Nothing spectacular. Remember it being a bit pricey for what it was. I liked it because it reminded of the pubs I used to go in back in my hometown, but that was it really.

Waited 45 mins for starters, then even longer for the mains to arrive, a lot of things were not available, fish pie had practically no fish and very bland. Luxury Lasagne was poor to average and was dumped upside down on a cold plate. Only...More

Weekday lunch. Waited over an hour for food, which meant we had to rush the meal. Meal was average. Shame as nice location and gardens.
