We were staying just up the road and wanted to venture out a bit. This place doesn't look like much on the outside, but it's what's on the inside that will bring you back. Very cozy, quiet, and great regional dinners. Not too pricy, and about what I expected for a place just off the trail.

We stopped here based on the fantastic reviews and were not disappointed! The wild rice soup was delicious! Loved the salad with house made blue cheese dressing. Warm and cozy with great service. We'll be back!

We had not visited in some years but will not make that mistake again! A charming little place - look for it in Beaver Bay - or ask. The food is great - with little touches like doilies under a bowl - that are quaint but welcoming. The atmosphere is creative and fun.

So wonderful! This place had been recommended by other people from the twin Cities who are in the hospitality industry and it lived up to to its reputation. I had never had rainbow trout before, it was fantastic! I was so full but ordered the coconut pie anyway and very thankful I did! We went at 3:30 in the afternoon... More

Lemon Wolf is a regular destination when we are at our cabin on Superior's north shore. This charming little place feels authentic, the service is fast and friendly, the food is delicious, and hot food arrives at your table hot. Especially good are the wild rice soup, creamy without thickeners, all the fish items, and the hot sandwiches. The table settings... More

Wonderful small restaurant close to Cove Point. Great staff, great food, and reasonable prices. We'll be eating there again at least once during our stay at Cove Point.

The Pecan Chicken and Walley were thoroughly enjoyed by our party but the scallops were overlooked with a lot of pasta so I would not select that item again. Our adult daughter preferred simple food and we had to negotiate to get her a meal off the kids menu (even though there were 3 full priced meals). Quirky decor and... More

Hello, I'm glad you enjoyed your visit, and that your teenager liked her "Little Wolf Meal", which is usually reserved for kids 10 and under, we were happy to accommodate her. The scallop dish you referred to with jumbo Sea Scallops is one of our most popular, it was given 5 out 5 stars by two food critics, as well... More

Lemon Wolf has great food and the decor is fitting for up north. I would really love to come back, but when I did plan on returning, my friends and I were greeted very rudely by the server. We asked to see a dessert menu, and she told us they did not give desserts to go. That was not what... More

I'm sorry you thought someone was less then polite to you, however, it is our policy that during the busy season we don't do "to go" desserts, reason being is that we can only make so many and we want there to be enough for our diners to finish their meal with dessert, being not a bakery nor pie shop...
