We chose The King William pub as it was on our way back whilst out walking the dog. We sat in the beer garden as the weather was so nice. We went through to the bar ( dogs are allowed in the bar) to order food and drinks. The menu is varied with a good variety of beers to chose... More

Four of us ate here Saturday lunchtime 15th April. The hooce on the menu, the service and the food were great. All meals were hot when they arrived and everything was cooked very well. The staff were very polite and friendly too. Will definitely eat here again and will also recommend to.others.

We had a lovely evening meal. The food was well prepared and presented and served promptly by friendly, attentive staff. Helpings were generous but the food was so delicious we managed 3 courses. The crunchy caramel pie is definitely to be recommended. It was also helpful that after we had ordered the chef checked that the person in our party... More

My brother booked a table for four here, when we arrived there was just one other table occupied yet we were still seated in a through fare. Our drinks order was taken but alas the waiter got the wring flavour J2O for my sister in law.. After a while we ordered our food only for when it came one meal... More

Had an excellent meal at lunchtime. The chilli was just about perfect. My friend had the pie which was huge and delicious. Didn't think she would manage it but she did. Then after a good chat we went on to the desert menu. neither of us could decide between two of the sponge puds on offer so we asked if... More

Our third visit for a family Sunday lunch. The staff were friendly, the service good and the price of the carvery reasonable, though some deserts are a bit expensive. Would certainly return.

A new simpler menu, 3 of the 4 ales were on offer, they tasted better than my last visit here. My lamb curry with rice & naan was lovely as was my apple tart & ice cream. The pub was beautifully decorated in Xmas items everywhere. Strangely a lot quieter than expected inside for a dinner time service. A lot... More
