I would recommend eating everything on this menu. My Favorites: burger, onion rings, fish with homemade tartar sauce, shake, or a fresh salad. Good environment, quick orders even when busy, the owners are always working.

If you are in Cloquet, I would definitely go to Gordy's Hi-Hat Restaurant. It's a fun atmosphere with traditional drive in food. The service is good and the serving size is large.

Located north of downtown on the main drag going through Cloquet, this has been a stop off point for years for people traveling up the the Iron Range or up north to a cabin or outdoor adventuring. It's a throwback to another era. Burgers, fries, sandwiches, shakes, and malts. The food is tasty and the atmosphere can't be beat. Closed... More

Gordy's is the rare exception to fast food. Even though you get it quickly almost everything is freshly made. Hamburgers are made from fresh ground beef and the fish fillets and onion rings are breaded by hand and excellent tasting. If you are traveling through Cloquet, MN make sure you make it a point to stop at Gordy's. It is... More

By a big group I mean 36! We were on our way to the boundry waters canoe area and stopped enmass. The Gordy's crew did not flinch. They have done this plenty. The food, burgers, shakes and fries for just about everyone. With so many people, it could have been really bad. In that I mean it coukd hsce come... More

We had a wonderful time at Gordy's. It brings me back to the "Good old days". My wife absolutely loves having a burger and fries followed by an old fashioned milk shake. We also love going to the Warming House in the winter!

Stopped by because we saw the burger restaurant here was well rated. Glad we did. Prices reasonable and the food was great. Particularly liked the onion rings.

Always stop here for a burger for lunch when in the Duluth area. Closes for the winter in early September so had to visit one last time until next spring.
