Lovely meal, service was good. Had fish and chips which was lovely. Would certainly go again. We had a table of about 12. The service was efficient. Everybody enjoyed their meals. Would recommend.

Lovely place, lovely food, outdoor play area for children, village pond with ducks, we love coming to the black swan... staff can be a little off-ish but overall a good place

Very close to Manchester City centre approx 13 miles. Just off the motorway so very easy to get to. 14 rooms. Stayed in Woodside which was an exec room. Spacious, nicely decorated, clean and well equipped. Hairdryer in the room. Iron etc available from reception....More

yes they do. they have Christmas and New Year special meals and events. I no longer live there but I always go to the Black Swan when back. Its home from home. my favourite pub
