We had the worst pub meal here about six years ago, but thought we ought to give it another chance. Beer ok, wine ok, cheaper than the Duchess, but the lighting is far to bright to have a comfortable drink

Visited on a quiet midweek January lunchtime. Staff were friendly and attentive, food service was prompt and the quality of food good. This was our first visit and we will come back.

We are dog friendly and have two allocated tables in the bar area for people with dogs. You are also more than welcome to sit with them in the 'snug' area. It is advisable to phone ahead and book if you know you are coming... More
