Coffee is the best anywhere as are the breakfasts, lunches and cakes, although probably very unhealthy, but great tasting!! The eggy stack is fabulous as are the bacon sandwiches and the kids love it.

Although quiet at 10am on a Tuesday, the chap in charge was welcoming and explained their simple help yourself system while he made drinks. Bench and farmhouse style tables make for a rustic feel, enlivened by tastefully chosen rock/pop background music. This is one of the Town Mill Bakery (Lyme) spin offs that pride themselves on very good coffee and... More

Excellent tasty breakfast made fresh. All sarnies on sourdough. Unusual surroundings which can feel odd but informal works well and coffee tastes freshly brewed and flavoursome. This is my fifth trip and the best by far. Thanks

we stumble across this and recognised the menu from the Rousdon Bakery which we visited earlier in the year. Great central location, seating on shared benches both inside and outside, fabulous croissants/ pastries, divine eggy bread and tomato soup, everything home-made on the spot, great coffee, a really good vibe. You serve yourself with bakery stuff, and order at the... More

Visited today for breakfast with our dog. So different to anywhere we have been before. You help yourself to pastries from a large table, order coffee & order food from the guy cooking. Bread is out of this world & the bacon sandwich delicious & so different. Worth the money. Dog got a biscuit & drink bowl was bought out... More

We went for a midweek lunch. We all had the soup which came in a bowl made of bread, very cute and novel, but the bread was a bit tough. We could happily have tried any of the food on offer - it all looked amazing. No pizza was available, but there were lots of alternatives. The coffee was good.... More

After reading some of the reviews, I was a little apprehensive about going. What a great place, rustic, but really enjoyed here. Friendly staff and a great concept. Will be going here again.

As said on Trip Advisor, great food but Jeeeez the boss gave cutlery a cursory dip in an unlit sink in water Im glad I couldn't see but certainly wasn't steaming! He then wiped his hands on an apron on a hook which totally shocked me in its filth and then wiped a table with a gloomy grey cloth. We... More
