We sat outside and enjoy the surroundings. The staff were doing pretty good job. They were super friendly. The food was excellent, I had walleye, son had wings, and wife had burger. I tried a flight of beers that were good and came out on...More

Wings and Rings were fair at best. Wings tasted like they were microwaved and came out cold. Rings were not good. Very disappointed!

My wife and I had an early dinner this past week. We elected to eat in the Bar because there was no waiting at the time of our visit. We sat for a few minutes before a waitress realized we had not been waited on....More

I mainly choose to go here to watch the boats and bridge. The food is good, big portions. Friendly staff. A little slow and a bit spendy, but totally worth it if you can catch a freighter while you are there.

Went here for dinner on a Friday evening at our most recent trip to Duluth. There was no wait when we originally got there (about 5p) and by the time we left the wait was 45 minutes. We sat in what appeared to be a...More

For all our years of going to Duluth, we had never visited Grandma's until recently. We sat up on the outside patio/roof that overlooks the Duluth Lift Bridge. It's a great spot for watching people and the boats. Unfortunately, our food was somewhat lacking. The...More

We had a reservation here since it is one of the only places that takes reservations! We were headed to a concert. Service was terrible- we may as well waiting elsewhere for a table because our server took a long time to wait on us,...More

I went with a friend and brought our teen sons. We sat on the deck upstairs and the atmosphere was fun and and energetic and we could see the lace from the deck. Our group shared a family sized order of the onion rings and...More

Since 1976 Grandma’s Saloon & Grill has been a casual but lively adventure to the past where value and customer service are at the center of everything we do. You’re surrounded by authentic antiques, collectibles, and an eager staff ready and willing to please. The award winning food includes overstuffed sandwiches and burgers; USDA choice steaks; house specialty pasta and wild rice dishes; appetizers include nationally recognized homemade onion rings, chicken wings, and stuffed mushrooms. It’s an eyeful as well as a mouthful. The legacy of customer satisfaction has been handed down by the Italian immigrant who started it all, “Grandma” Rosa Brochi. Everything she did in her early boarding house business included “100% customer satisfaction,” words that we still live by today. Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is real history, real antiques, real service, and really good food! A dining experience of legendary indulgence. The original Grandma’s Saloon & Grill is located at the foot of the historic Aerial Lift Bridge, at the tip of Lake Superior. Seasonal deck dining and the new rooftop lounge includes this spectacular view.
