The food is there is one of the best food I have ever tried. The atmosphere is VERY relaxing. Very friendly staff. The restaurant is never really crowded so you can take out or sit down and eat there. The restaurant is also Halal.

We've been going to Biryani for some time now, and always for lunch. Despite my scorn of typical steam table food (regardless of the cuisine), I have to say that Biryani does a consistently good job of providing good, fresh Indian dishes for their lunch buffet. There are lots of vegan choices as well as beef and chicken, and a... More

My wife had been craving Indian food for awhile and I not soo much. I gave in eventually. I cam by this place during lunch from work and ordered to go for a lunch date. It's a little place in Edina by a strip mall, but O My Word!!! lovely food. We had the Beef Biryani and some Naan. It's... More

This is crappy joint at its best. Dirty, filthy place. Service matches environment and is awful, staff is miserable with no interest in what they are doing. Food on floor, dirty chairs. ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. Attitude is little discriminatory!

Ignore the poor reviews and try for yourself! This food was amazing! I had the Chicken Korma and we shared the vegetarian appetizer for two. The service was awesome, too. Who cares if it is in a small strip center and the furnishings are dated. When it comes down to it, I am there for their great food which is... More

Who wrote good review for this sheety place? The restaurant is dirty and food was cold. A couple came, looked and left. I wish we did the same! And Biryani is terrible.

We have eaten here several times because the food is so wonderful. Our only complaint is the service on weekends. Very slow, didn't clear the table unless we asked, needed to ask for more tea never offered, needed to remind about our appetizer, had to ask for bill. Just overall a major lack of service. We also dined during the... More

Located in a small shopping center near William Wardell Lewis Park, in Edina, it is within walking distance (1.5 miles) from the Doubletree Hotel (Bloomington/Minneapolis South). However, the walking is not great in winter, as there are few sidewalks on the route, and few streetlights, too. Whenever I stay at the Doubletree on business (usually once a year), I make... More
