A quirky building with great food. Bread pudding is perfected and rock cakes that bring thoughts of tea at nans house. Hot food and toasted sandwiches. They are served by the owner Pete and his friendly all year round staff. Sit outside or eat in price is the same. Give it a try I am sure you will be back.

Went into a lovely little cafe on the green or SO I THOUGHT...the toilet was Disgusting and in good need of a load of bleach put in it. Plus, the flush was broken. On to the the food and crockery. The mugs were chipped and also in need of a good bleaching, I had the all day breakfast and wasn't... More

Strolling through Walmer the other day, we felt the need for coffee and nibbles and popped into the Sea Cafe for the first time. A delightful find - quirky, unique, unspoiled. The chef behind the counter had just finished preparing butter pudding so we had a couple of chunks - huge - mouth-watering - delicious - satisfying. My mate kept... More

Lovely little place. Just so right for the setting; lovely walk; the lady behind the counter was very kind and gave us a second cup of tea for nothing when we realised we didn't have enough change on us. Relaxing in the sun, by the beach, great views and hot tea! Who could complain at that?

Mediocre coffee with little taste, that was too hot and tasted mostly of milk. This is really disappointing when coffee good coffee is the norm and exceptional coffee is relatively easy to find elsewhere. The bacon sandwich was OK but the bread was from a packet and probably bought for economy rather than taste, as was the bacon. This place... More

We stopped by to have a drink and a snack whilst on a coastal walk. It is a small cafe which is in a prime location and appears to be very popular with locals. They do a basic menu which includes all day breakfasts. The prices are average for this kind of establishment although drinks were not overpriced. There are... More

Unpretentious local cafe with tables outside next to the beach. Serves full English breakfast, lunches and homemade cakes. Ideal for locals, tourists and dog walkers. Nice friendly atmosphere. Plenty of parking nearby.

Pretty much all the reviews are accurate, and as you can see, you either love it or not. We thought it was great. On a cold, wet day in May, it was perfect. It was a bit difficult to even tell if it was open, but once inside it offered a great choice of food, friendly faces, newspapers, and a... More
