Best sandwich in the city. Not best cubano sandwich, best sandwich in the city! Greay breakfast too. I'm never dissapointed after eating here.

I love the feel of this little place. Its quaint environment, colorful clientele and laid back atmosphere made for a relaxing early lunch. I loved the coffee, but was sort of disappointed with my "Cubano" sandwich. I've had many cubano sandwiches in my day, and this one was barely average. I was hoping for so much more. Here's my take... More

I went for the first time for dinner, and it was just as good as it has been the past several years for breakfast! We shared the meatball appetizer, which was outstanding. My friend tried the Picadillo a la Cubana for the main course, and I had the Fricasse de Pollo. Both were excellent. As always, the fried plantains are... More

Victor's is a quintessential hole-in-the-wall restaurant that matches great food with charming quirkiness. The Cuban plates are some of the best you'll find anywhere; the cubano sandwich was wonderful and sufficiently large that you can bring home the other half for lunch the next day, and the picadillo platter was also great. The interior is small but cozy and great... More

My wife and I are always on the lookout for those little hole-in-the-wall places that people love so much that they are always packed, but despite their success having outgrown their space, they maintain what made people love it in the first place. This is certainly that. The atmosphere is cozy, crowded, warm, overwhelming (but in a good way), and... More

I love coming to Victor's 1959. Not only is the food consistently fabulous, I am fascinated by the quirky environment. It is very small and intimate. There are posters relating to the Cuban revolution. Every surface is covered with graffiti. Order anything. There are non meat options for those who prefer. I like the mojito sorbet and a cup of... I chose to go here for my birthday after looking at Diner's, Drive-In's and Dive's restaurants. I had never had Cuban food before but after looking at the menu online everything looked good. I made reservations and had to change them several times and each time they were very accommodating. The inside is very small and quirky but cozy. We... More

Locals flock to Victor's for it's wonderful, flavorful food. Been going about once a week for years because it's THAT GOOD!!! The restaurant is actually fairly small, with limited table service, but well worth the wait. Food is off the hook delicious! Not sure what to order? The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. This place shines in the warmer... More

Saturday night "date night with 2 other couples brought us to Victor's. It was a beautiful fall evening and when they called to confirm my reservation asked if we'd like to sit on the patio. My husband and I had been there for breakfast before and sat inside (that review had I done one then would have been a FIVE),... More

Met up here for lunch with various family members. I love the quirky atmosphere-the walls and ceiling, even the napkin dispenser are covered in graffiti, done in crayon and other writing instruments. Victor's is very small and the booths are small also but we managed to fit 6 adults and a 12 year old in with 2 people sitting in... More
