I went to this place last week , there was a Middle aged man at the front who seated us but did not even say a word, not even welcome , he did not give us any silverware either , may be he was having a bad day but treating customers like that is unacceptable. Our waiter came after a... More

I have visited this place more than a dozen times, and I have never been less that completely satisfied. Regardless of type of food, this is a top five restaurant for me. And for Thai, it is hands down number one.

My roommate we would try Tum Rup Thai for dinner. When we arrived, there was no hostess and we were not sure if we should just seat ourselves. Upon the entrance of another party, a woman greeted everyone and we were seated. Our waiter quickly brought us water and asked how we were. We said we were good and asked... More

Went here with my family and we sampled 5 appetizers and 5 entrees. Everything was delicious. It's hard to put 1 over the other, but I liked the fried dumplings, cream cheese wantons and seafood pad thai the most. Their mixed drinks were flavorful and our server, Dustin, had his hands full with us and did a great job. If... More

My cousin and I ate here while exploring uptown Minneapolis and we're looking for something different. This hit the spot! They have excellent lunch specials where you can grab a soup, appetizer, and entree combo of the sort. Highly recommend!

We stumbled upon the restaurant just east of Calhoun Square. It was not busy during what should be the dinner rush. As we walkes to the place we weren't sure it was open-no light coming through the windows and no one seated at the umbrella tables outside on a beautiful night. We ordered. It took a long time to get... More

We came here with another couple. It was delicious! The spice was perfect. My husband had the Pad Thai and I had the Mee Kah Teeh. It was amazing. I also recommend the cranberry wontons.

I tried this restaurant with a friend of mine and we've both appreciated the huge servings as well as the good quality of food. The only reason why I can't give a full 5 is the atmosphere: probably because many people were elsewhere watching some sport, it was almost empty and quiet but not in a comfortable way...anyway, very good... When it opened, years ago, this was a good little restaurant that had some very tasty foods. Over the years it failed to invest in itself and rumor has it the ownership changes so much of its former qualities have worn off. Food is good, prices are a bit higher than they should, drinks are just usual. In the summer... More

Fantastic Thai food. Very authentic. Quick service. Not a flashy location, but the food is consistently excellent. Lunch specials are a great value.
