When I decide to go out for breakfast I say go big or go home! This place has great affordable food and is a perfect greasy spoon kinda joint. It's sort of a dive but the food is so good who cares! They are cash or check only (even they even take checks anymore) so make sure to stop by... More

Went to Papa's when rained out building a deck. It was lunch time. I had eggs, meat and potatoes. The treat was that kielbasa was one of the meat choice. My wife had the people's choice omelet which was delicious and huge. Papa's is a traditional cafe. Service was very good and the food was steaming hot. We will definitely... More

Pretty good place for breakfast. Nice to support a local independent restaurant. The serving sizes are generous. Dinner experience has been uneven.

These folks do a really good job on breakfast and lunch. There omelets are 3 eggs with good portions of meat and cheese. AND they have American fries made with thinly sliced potatoes - the way they should be made.

I guess we were hoping for better. Most of our breakfast was good, but the bacon was a little under cooked. The toast my wife had was soggy. I liked my waffle and the eggs were prepared just as I like them. Unfortunately, our waitress was a little aggressive removing our plates. I had not yet finished my eggs when... More

Cozy traditional diner atmosphere with lunch counter, tables and several booths. Busy restaurant any time of day. They quickly serve up a variety of menu choices and are well known for breakfast and the original open face hot beef sandwiches they serve. It's not flashy or modern, just straight up good food at great prices

I had read a couple of great reviews regarding Papa's cafe when looking for a family owned place for breakfast so I though I would try it Yes, it is not your typical chain, so that's a positive. The menu is good for breakfast and prices are reasonable. There were two of us so I thought I go for the... More

This is a family owned (not chain) restaurant. The specialty is breakfast. The portions are enormous and the food is tasty. Look for local coupons. The décor is from the 1950s and looks original. It is a throw back. I would go here again.

Wonderful breakfasts, even (and especially) the eggs benedict. Good food and good value, with ambience a nostalgia buff will love. If you expect lime wedges in your water or hazlenut-flavored espresso, go somewhere else. For really well done genuine American "comfort food" you can't go wrong here!

This restaurant is a special destination for our group of guys. We travel from all over the metro area to meet at Papa's. While the hot beef sandwich is what originally drew us in, the hot turkey sandwich on Friday is just as wonderful. Slices of 'real' beef and turkey matched with mashed potatoes and gravy. The servings are huge... More
