Yummy Burger or Wicked Grilled Cheese? Must I choose? So delicious! And the best pie choices! Amazing Friday fish fry!

This simple little cafe has delicious, original menu items served with a smile. The pie is homemade and yummy. Just open for breakfast and lunch, and Friday evenings when they serve some of the best fish around.

We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast at Burdeys just after a flood! They quickly cleaned up the place and kept cooking. What a great little spot right off the Root River bike trail.

We stopped here on a bike trip again due to our great experience last year. We love the pie and the friendly atmosphere. Everyone is always so nice. We have the lemon truffle pie and it was delicious! See you next biking season!

We visited our son and he brought us to the restaurant for breakfast. Very very good food for a small cafe. Very reasonable too. Would like to see professional type coffee cups instead of a variety. Otherwise highly recommended!!!

In short...small town gem with big heart pies! Our bed and breakfast owner suggested we try this place ahead of other places that have a lot of tourist press for their pies and we are so glad we did. The fish we had (on friday) was "awesome" (kiddo quote) and the pies...well... let's just say there was arguing from the... More

Biked over from Lanesboro and had a great lunch. The sweaty Hawaiian burger was awesome -- Jalapeños, pineapple, bacon, and cream cheese stuffed and on top. Kids got cinnamon roll pancakes and stuffed French toast and loved them as well. Wanted to go back the next day and do it all over again.

While' down in SE Minnesota for my son's graduation from Winona State University, we stayed at the Andor Wenneson Inn. For breakfast we were invited to have breakfast by my father and brother at Burdey's. Small town atmosphere, we arrived a little late, and were greeted by one of the servers asking if we were here with Howard (My dad).... More

Just off the bike trail - a quick ride from Lanesboro. Perfect for our first day out. Homemade food and friendly service. Very good burgers and all day breakfast We'll be back!
