I consider this place a mix of southern BBQ with Caribbean or even Latin American fare. The beans and rice were terrific. The BBQ sauce is just as advertised - sweet and a touch of spice. The meat is done to perfection but the Mac and Cheese side dish was a little dry. The yuca fries were delicious. Chips and... More

Whomever writes that the food here is bland does not have taste buds. Delicious and well cooked Caribbean fare served in an eclectic setting for extremely reasonable prices. This is not Mexican food. If you are looking for lots of tomatoe based dishes and jalapeños, look elsewhere. Here you will find subtle flavorings of garlic, achote, saffron and other spices... More

The guacamole & yuca fries were tasty. The chicken was a bit bland. I didn't really like the sangria. Staff is very helpful, friendly and professional

I don't know if it is a Minnesota thing, but there seems to be a fear of flavor in quite a few restaurants in Minnesota. I had the roasted chicken. It was nicely cooked, but completely lacking in any flavor.

They have good vegetarian options as well as delicious carnivore selections. Outdoor seating when weather cooperates. Enjoy.

It has been a minute since a restaurant cuisine has stopped me in my tracks. This restaurant has amazing southern food and you can taste it in every bite. I simply was not expecting how good it was going to be. From the cornbread to the rotisserie chicken, from the pulled pork to the creole rice, I could go on... More

We stopped at Brasa Rotisserie on Grand Avenue, St. Paul in June 2016 before going to a concert. It was a hot, hot day and the air conditioning in this restaurant was not working. We decided to stay anyway because of the rave reviews over the food as well as the charming atmosphere. It's true: the food is very good... More

My family ate here recently-in a word, Fantastic!! The service was excellent; the food was amazing; the price was reasonable. Our waitress helped us put together a family meal. We started with tostones and aioli plus corn muffins. We enjoyed their special beverage of pineapple juice and ginger ale. Delicious and refreshing. For our main meal we ordered BBQ beef,... More
