Popular, old school diner. Parking can be a challenge. Very friendly staff. Extensive menu. Reasonably priced. Generous servings. Very busy on weekends.

Walking into the Copper Dome, now under a new name - St. Paul Grille - is like walking into the past. The menu is simple and filling. Eggs, waffles, sides, etc. I had a wonderful blueberry waffle. My wife had Eggs Benedict. Both were perfect. Service was friendly and "home town sweet."

Have been here a few times. Food is always xlnt. Owner Tom almost always there and attentive. Love the potato pancakes and the omlets. My wife a fan of their Reuben sandwiches. Would jave guve 5 stars, but the decor needs work. Clean and orderly, but needs an update.

We went and had a couple different things. The lemon ricotta pancakes were very good but I would get a side of eggs or something else with them. They were very thin so 3 of them isn't enough to hold you. Huevos ranchero was very good.

The food was good, staff was good. The price was high, and the nook is just up the street. If the nook is busy, it is a good substitute.

The previous viewer lived her lemon curd pancakes- mine were fine- three saucer size crepe in nature topped with a ball of margarine. Six would have been a meal. French toast again small portion for a 70 pound boy. The hashbrowns platter was big and the eggs were cooked correctly, but the funk funk nasty taste of the hashbrowns was... More

We went here on out way out of St. Paul and were not disappointed. Our server was an older, sassy lady who was super fun. The menu was diverse. I ordered the lemon curd pancakes and was super pleased!

I feel like what has happened to the Copper Dome is a metaphor for what is happening to Saint Paul. Once a venue with good food and character, not to mention all the awesome politically INCORRECT flour sacks that used to be on walls... Now its just another boring 'hip' restaurant with average over priced food. Thanks Runyun. Keep ruining... More

My husband thought his buttermilk pancakes were doughy with a nonporous "skin", so the syrup didn't penetrate them. This was a featured dish on their menu, and you'd expect more from a breakfast place. On the other hand, my cinnamon French toast was outstanding, so light it was almost like cake. Our bacon and eggs were made exactly as we... More

Eggs cooked exactly the way you want, good bacon and coffee. Was a tad disappointed in the Red Eye Skillet. I didn't think the sausage in it was very good: didn't taste like andouille. No wheat toast, only white. I still call this place Copper Dome but, technically it is now Randolph Grille. But, there is still Copper Dome signage... More
