This is one of my "go to" places. Always great service, always good food and you can always get a table. The breakfasts are awesome, love the lunch specials, I will frequently grab a cup of soup and take it back to my office. Whether going with friends, family or business associates, I can always count on having a positive... More

We go to the Highland Café & Bakery for the fish and chips. Every time we have ordered them they have been first rate, might be the best in town. Last night someone in our party ordered the liver and onions and sadly the liver was overcooked. The potatoes and gravy were great and the sautéed onions were right on.... More

Stopped in today around 11:30 and had to first decide on ordering breakfast or lunch. Let me back track, getting past the front counter showing the varied bakery cakes, cookies and fabulous cinnamon and caramel rolls was the first challenge. Then the menu... what to order? So many tasty items to choose from. The featured soups were impressive as were... More

Friendly staff, fast service, easy access, so a fav of local seniors. Prices that are in line with similar cafes. Breakfast served all day.

If I lived in the neighborhood, I'd be a regular here. As it is I stop in every couple of months. I LOVE the potato bacon soup. The french fries are hot and crisp. Lots of sandwiches and meals to choose from, with breakfast menu good all day. I'm usually alone, at off-hours, and reading a book. I get just... More

Great selection of homemade soups daily. All food is good. A wonderful chicken or veggie curry. It feels like a down home cafe.

My wife and I stopped in on a Sunday afternoon, after looking at houses in the area. We were looking for a place that served breakfast all day, and we saw their sign from the road. The hostess greeted us with a smile, and help us find a table. The restaurant was clean, and there was a mural of St.... More

The bakery food looks good but the cooked food was subpar. Very over priced for what you get. Ended up spending way to much money for bad breakfast food. Won't be back

If your in the mood for home made soups, chilli or biscuits from scratch. Well, everything is made that way actually. Meatloaf dinners, huge juicy burgers. They have a great menu and plenty of homemade comfort food to go around. Their prices are reasonable, but if you have a mobile phone it doesn't hurt to check out Groupon to see... More

While it was busy, we were sat immediately and given water and menus quickly. While the staff wasn't terribly friendly, it was so busy I could understand. My girlfriend came in late and she got my girlfriend's order asap. I was really impressed. Our orders arrived too and the food was quite good. We will return!
