A reasonable range of Japanese staples: sushi, shashimi, tepenyake, Ca;lifornia Rolls and much more. I have eaten there occasionally and have never had a meal that disappointed.

We treated ourselves to a Samurai Set with a bottle of Chateau Tahbilk Couestant Chardonnay Pinot sparkling to help us relax, it all went together spectacularly. Every part of the meal was of good quality and it was a great way to enjoy a tasty meal with a little fun thrown in by the Chef although we did decline to... More

We went as a family recently for the novelty factor of having food cooked in front of you and thrown at you! The kids loved it and had a great night as our chef was very funny and engaging. The food however lacked flavour and we were all left feeling a bit sick as there was so much butter used... More

Whilst the 12 course menu is very good value and filling, we found some of the items overcooked. The miso soup to start was one of the better ones, not too salty and tasty. The chef at our grill was entertaining and good fun, with the usual showmanship and skills on display. He cooked our steak to perfection and this... More

Unfortunately not as good as other reviews stated. Food was either tasteless or overcooked. Starter lacked any flavour and the rest that was cooked on the plate was burnt due to excessive high heat. The sauce covered the burnt flavour but it was still dry, chewy or just too salty. Overall a quite poor teppanyaki experience.

Had an awesome meal at Aya Teppanyaki. Our reservation was for 6pm - don't turn up earlier as the doors don't open until 6 on the dot. We were welcomed on entering the restaurant and shown to our seats. Entrance has 2 steps up. Drinks were offered straight away so I ordered a small bottlle of saki. My children purchased... More

A great way to enjoy a tasty meal with a little fun thrown in by the skilled Teppanyaki chiefs. Every part of the meal is served separately and most is cooked in front of you by an entertaining Japanese chief. We spent $38.00 ($76.80 normally) each for a 12 course teppanyaki feast with sake included via a Groupon voucher. We... More

Grab a group of friends and do yourself a favour and head down to this good time restaurant for a bit of fun and great food. We bought our coupons online and considering we ate 12 courses, it was a bargain. Our chef kept us well fed and thoroughly entertained for the 2 hours we were there.

Reading the reviews it sounded amazing but coming here was a bust. My family and I came in at 2pm after a number of changes to the booking. We were quite happy to have something booked because it's my grandpa's first time coming to Australia to try teppanyaki. He's very fragile so understandably I wanted him to have the best... More
