In trips past, we would stay two nights and eat in the Dancing Fire Restaurant each morning. We went as a group (two couples) two of us ordered the eggs Benedict. They asked us how we wanted our poached eggs. Our options were soft medium and hard. Of course we ordered soft. They came out medium to hard. The hollandaise... More

Got the credit card bill and the rate was not the $110 online...it was Moondance Weekend so they jacked the regular rate up to $190 instead. When I made the reservation at 5p that night, I had problems with the website so called instead. They will not credit me the difference because, even though I asked and was told it... More

To start with at the door, they open it for you and wish you luck. Which you will need as the machines are pretty tight. Fun machines to play and go with the idea to have fun and you will. The snack bar is nice but the service is very very slow. I have seen orders set in window for a... More

Nice place to eat with an excellent "creamy tomato bacon & wild rice soup". They have a good selection of food on the buffet.

A decent buffet, but it's been awhile and I can't recall any highlights or low points. My wife gambled, which is not my thing - a winner every time at the buffet. RV parking was the highlight,, 'free' 15 amp hook-ups along the row of pines near the highway. Just go in and get a Player's Card and the security... More

I love events here--every seat is wonderful and close enough to see. I have seen REO, Charlie Daniels Band, Brett Michaels, and Chef Robertson here for a dinner show (awesome!).

We ate at the Northern Lights Casino Buffet and were surprised at the quality of their food, their prime rib was delicious and cooked nicely, they had a variety of seafood entrees and an even bigger selection of side dishes. Everything we tried was very tasteful, moist, and well prepared. We would definitely eat there again.

I Had pizza from the snack bar and it was average. Very cheesy. Wife had a salad and they messed up the chicken order and the lettuce was pretty limp. That part was disappointing. The next morning we had the North Star buffet for breakfast and that was an excellent meal despite not being overly big on selection. With the... More

This was a refreshing last stop after a long road trip. We were able to eat, play some fun slot machines and spend the night for at a nice price. The buffet is pretty good food. The hotel is clean and friendly and if you want to save money on the room get a casino players card before you check... More

Northern Lights is a fairly small casino in Walker, MN. It certainly has a bit of a captive audience considering the size of the town. Most staff was very nice. My one complaint is I had a blackjack dealer whom it told I was staying twice and hit me anyway, putting me over. When I called the pit boss over,... More
