We stopped off here at coffee time to see Hells Mouth and have some refreshment. The staff were friendly and welcoming but the service wasnt great. We only ordered two hot chocolates. One with marshmallows and one without but it was 10 mins before it...arrived and the place wasnt busy and there had been no other orders. Shame really.More

We have visited the Hells Mouth Cafe on a few occasions and have never been disappointed with the coffee and food. It’s a lovely little stop off on your coastal road journey down to Lands End. If your luckily your can pop over the road...and see the seal family at the bottom of the cliff line. Well worth a visitMore

My wife and I live in Cornwall and this cafe was always our "go to"cafe for lunch on a day out . Our recent visit was very disappointing . The food was good and service good but the facilities were poor . Two toilets are...now one , not enough for the numbers visiting the area . Add to this there was no running water for hand washing . The bin for rubbish was inside the entrance so I had to enter the cafe to dispose of rubbish then leave via the queue for food . The staff said the cafe was being renovated but it has been for some considerable time . All in all a very disappointing visit .More

Hot chunky chips and tasty fish in crunchy breadcrumbs. Cheesy chips could have done with more cheese. Cold drinks (Rattler's berry cider and Fentiman's ginger beer) chilled but not ice cold. Unusual hot weather for mid September. Would visit again. Enjoyed the field views whilst...sat on a picnic bench outside in the hot sun. No recycling bottles, paper cups, cardboard.More

Ordered chips, can of pop. Can of pop was about £2.60 and chips were reasonable at £3. Chunky chips ended up quite dry on the inside. Lovely location. Had quite the trek afterwards to Muttons Cove and back.

Nice little place situated across the road of a stunning cove. They had a wide selection sweet treats including interesting cakes and flapjacks, as well as ice cream. They also served chips which were slightly odd, quite pale and had a strange taste to them...but were greatly appreciated as we were very hungry. Good to stop off before Gwithian because the cafe there seemed busy and was a walk away from the other side of the beach. Also had local artists' work for sale and a range of other gift ideas like plants and cards. Outdoor seating only but the view was vey nice.More

Been visiting this cafe for many years just for their cream teas. Unfortunately this visit was horrendous. Staff couldn’t careless attitude. And the cream tea has disintegrated from a tray with individual pots with a choice of scone to one in a cardboard box with...paper cups. Much better value from local supermarket. Will not visit again. I appreciate COVID has impacted some aspects of the hospitality trade but this was beyond the pale.More

This cafe is one of our always return to places on our annual Cornwall trip in particular for the seafood chowder, however today I was really disappointed not to find it on the menu. However despite this disappointment the food we did eat, tuna melt...& Fishfinger Butty with Cheesey chips & sweet potato fries was good, fresh ingredients, prompt service friendly staff but terrible coffee. Ice cream was very good too. Overall I can recommend a visit but please bring back the seafood chowder & decent coffee. We’ll be back as is our tradition this time next year 😎More

It is dog friendly. I have not eaten there for Sunday roast. It changed hands last year and we only visited for cream teas. Imagine you would need to book as quite small

My wife and I always ate outside so didn't see any dogs inside. There is a good chance that it wouldn't be a problem Cheers Tony D
