Last night was my first time ordering from Punjab Curry Club and definitely not my last! I ordered items as per the family take away option and then added some very tasty delights!
My order was made up of traditional garlic naan, choc naan, the tasting platter, butter chicken and lamb korma, rice and pappadams. and only took 25 mins to prepare.
By the time I returned home to Thornlands my meal was still nice and hot, it was served between 4 and there was a little leftover after filling our plates.
The garlic naan was delicious as was the tandoori lamb and meat samosa from the tasting platter. The lamb korma and butter chicken rocked my world on the bed of rice as well! There were also full legs of tandoor chicken, lamb sheek kebabs, fish bites etc.
Every item of food tasted fresh and great! We will definitely be returning often to not only get take away, but also experience their restaurant service as well, the Punjab Curry Club looks well-appointed, warm and welcoming as were the staff.
Very happy with the service, the quality of food and thought the price $68 in total was fair and reasonable. If you live in the area and like Indian cuisine, then you MUST try this place!

Punjab Curry Club is one of Brisbane’s hidden gems. If you are a lover of curry you must venture to Wellington Point (located south Brisbane) to try their assortment of Indian curry and other dishes.
Beverages: Not BYO, however they have a range of beer, wine, cider, spirts and cocktails. Do not expect an amazing cocktail as this is a restaurant you go to for cultural food not drinks.
Food: The food is incredible, nothing to fault. All dishes are made fresh. They have a large range of curries ranging from seafood, chicken, lamb, beef and vegetable. They also have a range of sides such as naans and other traditional Indian sides. They can cater for families with young Children and non Indian food offering things such as fish and chips.
I go to this restaurant all year round, with family, friends or just my partner.

Our favourite Indian in all of Brisbane. Rohit the owner that is. The food is also our favourite! We’ve never been disappointed by dining in, takeaway or delivery. They have been very adaptive in responding to the Covid-19 crisis and I feel very safe getting food from them as I always have. Rohit is a great member of the community and is always trying to help, whether it’s firies during our recent bushfires, or medical professionals working during this quarantine. He cares deeply about the Bayside and the people and recognised and appreciates his locals and regulars.

I need to start by saying that I have never had a good curry. Until tonight. The service at this restaurant was amazing. The manager could not have been more accommodating. There were 3 curry virgins at the table and they were given a half a dozen different sauces to try before ordering. The food exceeded all expectations and our 9 year old was the biggest fan! We would highly recommend this restaurant for seasoned curry fanatics and those new to this cuisine. Trust in the recommendations by the staff. You will not be disappointed.

as a Brit i really enjoy a good curry, this place was pretty close to a curry like back home, had starters, mains and sides. every part was quality and the chef was willing to change things up if you wanted to. they used chicken breast which i loved. i will 100% return. the only down side was the staff took ages to get our drinks even asking numerous times which was a bit annoying as they lost out on quite a bit of money as we were drinking a lot. will see you soon

Outstanding Indian restaurant. The chef specials are always fantastic, and there is normally a new one each week. Service is personal and very friendly. Have not found better Indian food anywhere in greater Brisbane area. Well worth a visit.

The Punjab curry club at Wellington Point, which is not part of the poorly reviewed chain of restaurants elsewhere was recommended to us by friends.
To preface, my partner is half Indian, her family have owned an Indian restaurant for over 10 years with my partners brother in law being the chef and her family running the front of house. Her brother in law was trained at the best hotel in New Delhi before moving to Australia, so this review is mostly on my partners behalf who is more knowledgeable than me and is also the main cook in our relationship too, I have never tried to cook these dishes unlike my partner who cooks these dishes regularly.
I tend to find restaurants have good food but poor service or great service and average food, here is a slight spoiler, we drove 30 minutes from Mount Gravatt to come try this place and we were not disappointed at all.
The restaurant itself is very simply decorated, not lavish or garish like some others lean towards although the lighting may be a little low.
The staff were all great, very friendly but not overbearing, but there when needed with a great attitude, suggestions and happy to help.
The food was all perfect, a butter paneer and naan is always a good way to tell if its a good restaurant, if they can't cook a butter paneer well and don't make proper fresh tandoor naans, the place is basically rubbish to us.
At the Punjab Curry Club that is not something you need worry about at all.
Both of the naans were fresh and cooked in a tandoor. The rice was perfect. For mains we had the butter paneer and dopiyaza which were delightful and cooked fresh to order.
The chocolate naan which was new to us and we wouldn't have normally ordered as I love rasmalai and my partner loves gulab jamun but after everything else being so great we thought why not? The result, also a success.
We will be back for sure, probably sooner rather than later.

We've been in Australia now for 10 years and can count on the fingers of one hand the number of good Indian restaurants here. Punjab Curry Club has to be the best of those. The service is always excellent, the food amazing and the atmosphere is great.
It's nice to try some of the different dishes to what we are used to, the Rahra Chicken as a starter was so delicious.. We can get the food heat adjusted to our liking on the dishes, and there's always plenty in each dish. Really appreciate that the owners make a point of coming round and talking to all of their customers

Hmm disappointing. I felt sick after eating and silly me ate the left overs for lunch the next day, and felt sick again. Surprise surprise.
Not only that but it doesn’t taste great at all. It’s so sweet, and overloaded with coriander, all other flavours are overpowered. I ordered the chicken tikka masala and cheese and spinach naan for reference (this is my standard order for any Indian meal). There’s a few Indian restaurants in the Redlands, and all of them are consistently amazing and authentic! I also have amazing Indian friends who have cooked for me. If you were a first timer to curry, you’d either be put off from your experience at Punjab or you would like it because you haven’t had anything to compare it to yet. As my friends have said, a lot of Australian Indian restaurants put a lot of sugar in their gravies, I would stick to authentic recipes honestly.
Despite the average taste, the staff were so lovely and accommodating but unfortunately I came for the food and I probably won’t be back

Had dinner with family and friends and had an amazing time. Service was great and food was amazing. We ordered a variety of stuff and each and every preparation was unique unlike some places where they all taste the same. In short, thoroughly enjoyed our time and will be back for sure.

We dined outside with our friends from the Gold Coast and the service was great. The vibe in the village in this restaurant precinct is lovely. We ordered the tandoori lamb cutlets as a starter they were yummy. A standout dish was the chicken do pyaza and the tadka dahl. The cuisine is light and fresh. We are local so definitely will be back.

I’ve been here about 15-20 times now, live in Ashgrove but still always worth the trip.
By far the best Indian Food I’ve had in Australia, not only is the meat and quality of food fantastic, but it’s always cooked to perfection and the flavours are incredible.
The service is always amazing, they remember you and say hi everytime, absolute credit to the team there!

Visiting friends in Brisbane and this is their favourite Indian restaurant and no wonder it is fantastic.
Lovely setting, you can sit inside or outside.
Great menu, so much choice including many English favourite curry’s. Good selection of drinks to accompany your meal.
The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly.

Can’t fault them ever. We’ve been going there for a long time now and never have we had a bad meal yet. And gets the big tick of approval for authenticity from my Indian husband and inlaws. Recommend everyone I know and meet to eat here.

Worst Indian I have ever had. The curry was so watery and the meat was so dry. Don’t come here. Jaipur palace down the road is way better
