Got to see this gem on my third trip to The Delta. It's a high volume home style restaurant. They took reservations for us to get in which was wonderful. We went at 5 on a Saturday and it was perfect. We could sit right away and by the time we left there was 30 folks in line outside. It's... More

Over priced, they don't understand the concept of reservations which we made. If eating in a run down shack, waiting 30 mins for a table you reserved and sharing a table and poor service is what you like, go there. The wine I had to bring with me was the best part of the experience.

One of a kind! You can go in there in jeans or a formal. You always feel special and guaranteed to be the best steak EVER!

My steak was great , but the salad was a joke. The woman who sat us was very rude and keep telling my son to get out of her way , not to mention the service from our waitress was slow ( she couldn't remember anything we said ). Tried it and wont be back again.

I feel it is over priced. The salad for 5.00 was a joke. No bread was served with steak. Waitress was not attentive. I noticed if you were a regular there, you got wonderful service, salad piled high and toast with your steak, pitcher of tea sat on your table. We drove 4 hours to get here and would not... More

My family and I were driving around the Mississippi Delta and came out to Greenville specifically to eat at Doe's Eat Place. We weren't disappointed: the porterhouse steak was melt in your mouth delicious, accompanied by fresh delicious salads and tasty tamales. The atmosphere is about as unique as you can find--the food is partially prepped in the middle of... More

Doe's is a classic restaurant that changes the game with steak. Bring your A game and a good appetite because they don't play around. The staff is super friendly and food is amazing. Just don't be turned off by the atmosphere, it's every unique lol.

This is probably one of the more unique places I've ever eaten. It's literally in the middle of a hood, and the security guard outside is a nice touch. But the food is incredible; I had the porterhouse with shrimp. Be prepared to spend a lot of money, but it's worth it. It's all cooked in a 100 year old... More
