Do not let the small size of this restaurant deceive you, the food is high quality, great recipes, yummy and fresh. The menu is creative and offers several seafood dishes and other items. The appetizers YaYa and Fried Green Tomatoes are a must.

This is definitely THE restaurant in Indianola. I travel a good deal for work, and I'm always looking for local restaurants that aren't greasy spoons. Plenty of good food here, and definitely a step up from the usual. Ask to sit in Debra's section--she was terrific and took great care of me. Nola is on my return list!

I travel for business every week and i like to try all of the local places. I was told about this place by 3 different people as being the place to go. It has very bluesy and an inviting atmosphere. I felt very comfortable coming in solo. I sat at the bar to save space. The bartender was very attentive... More

The restaurant is small but quaint in the old movie theater in Indianola. Yaya shrimp is delicious with a nice crunch and a delectable sauce. The stuffed chicken with spinach and artichoke was delicious paired with cabbage. And what can I say about the drinks, LaBeth is a great bartender shaking up mojitos with her added special touch. Turner was... More

Comfortable, casual, but not a run-of-the-mill restaurant. Diverse group of diners had a wide range of menu choices. The men next to us appeared to have just left work. One had an enormous burger. I had the grits cake with LaFitte sauce. My husband had a salad. Our dinners were delicious, and the man with the burger took half of... More

We had shrimp and grits which were very good, in a very rich sauce. The shrimp were large and juicy. Portion was a bit small for the price. We also had the tuna tartare from the appetizer menu. It was fantastic and the portion was actually larger than expected for the price. Service was good although the food took quite... More

I selected the Catfish dinner in a lemon butter sauce, it was fabulous! But the true treat was the Pecan cobbler. Now I love pecan pie, but this was over the top. Served warm with lots of sweet goo, caramel, and of course ice cream! When will I learn to eat dessert 1st!!!!

Love to eat here! Food is reasonably price and you get oversized portions. It is very tasty. I had the blackened redfish with the crab sauce topping and it was delicious.

Very good. Had a signature cucumber drink that was tasty but was 10$ when my bill came. Had deep fried Tamales - good but heavy. Catfish cake - had grits & a fried green tomato - good & bacon wrapped oysters- delicious. The entrees only come w/ a salad, sides are Ala cart....a little pricey for what you get. Overall... More
