Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

An excellent lunch at this locals' family run village pub. Hearty soup of the day and quality baguette. Good value. Three real ales served by gravity. Open fire. Friendly landlord. Doggy friendly. Handy for Killerton, a National Trust mansion and gardens. Featured in the Good...Pub Guide and Good Beer Guide. 🇬🇧🇳🇿More

As a member of a car club I arrange for a group from Devon to join together for Sunday Lunch, I provided numbers, as requested, however additional members arrived unexpectedly. Although extremely busy, the owner and the family went out of their way to accommodate...us. As a result my position was stress free, the member unaware of any problems. The compliment regarding the food and venue The Lamb Inn were numerous, thank you, you made my job easy. We will come again for sure.More

Great service and even better food. For a Thursday it was busy and the staff were on it. The food was excellent for all four of us. The best Steak & Ale pie I've had for a long while.

Friendly welcome and pleasant atmosphere. Bar area is open plan, but there are plenty of cosy corners to sit. We had two good snacks and local ale is well kept in barrels behind bar

What a lovely local pub! The food was amazing. The local guest beers were very moreish. The locals were so friendly that they wouldn’t let us walk back to our accommodation down the country lanes in the dark. The landlady Rachel very kindly gave us...a lift back after a wonderful evening.More

We were staying in a cottage in another village and in the visitors book the lamb inn had been highly recommended. There were 4 of us and we were welcomed by the staff we got our drinks from the bar and then sat at our...table with the menus. Some beautiful items very difficult to chose one had Mexican chicken which they enjoyed and 2 had ribs and one the burger. The meat on the burger was delicious and the coleslaw that came with the meals was delicious. The tapas that was also on the menu sounded delicious it was very hard to choose. 3 puddings were ordered a sundae chocolate fudge cake and a waffle all were really enjoyed. A lovely way to spend the last night of our holiday. I stupidly left my handbag and when I returned it had been placed safely behind the bar.More
