visited this pub while staying in Nesscliffe on holiday. Had a couple of meals and no complaints with the food or the service. We were lucky enough to be able to sit outside as the weather was good. We went most late afternoons for a...More

We were the only table lunching the day we ate there. A cold and bleak English summer day. The service was cheery and fresh and the food very good. Hard to imagine the place when busy but I suspect they cope well. I liked it

My partner and I stopped off here for lunch on a busy Sunday and fortunately they managed to squeeze us in. The food was great with really big portions. The staff were also really friendly. Would definitely stop off here again when passing.

Group of 26 ex-work colleagues booked here for a lunch get together. We pre-ordered main and dessert. The food was very good and well presented. The only problem was that they ran out of Erin Mess dessert despite us ordering in advance. However fresh ones...More
