Well this place was a bit better than expected. The drinks were served quickly and the BBQ food was nice. Overall all good value and the staff had smiles on their faces. Toilets were clean and the prices reasonable. Nothing spectacular about the place but...More

We had good visit today. Service was great, warm and friendly. The food was good we had a mixture of kitchen food and BBQ food. From the two I would say the kitchen food is much much better. The bbq was ok for a passing...More

The restaurant looked pretty with fairy lights everywhere but the food was not good and we had to wait ages for the meals as the kitchen apparently had a backlog of orders which seemed odd when we were the only table eating initially. Lasagne was...More

There were 5 of us. We had lovely meals and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful. The young ladies were delightful, making sure that our food was nice and that we had enough drinks. It was very busy but the waiting staff couldn’t do...More

Horrible surly staff in charge. Pub and garden dirty and run down. Toilets broken, seats, tables and glasses all dirty. And the Eskimo Slushy sign outside? Ignore it... it only applies on weekends. Horrible pub.

Came here with friends on a sunny sunday. We sat outside which was lovely and had lunch. Only irritating thing was that my food came before my friends & I had finished by the time theirs came. But the food was yummy. Will definitely come...More

A great pub in a rural location yet not far from Croxley and Rickmansworth. A large outside area allows for families at the back safely away from roads and it has another area at the front. Lots of room inside too. Food service is a...More

We visited with friends prior to a holiday the next day. The fish and the meat sharing plates for starters were absolutely outstanding and the mains were equally good. There is lovely friendly ambience which made for a lovely dining experience.

I am so sorry to read this, and I am sorry that I was unable to speak to you when you were here, although I did speak to you later on that evening. I am mortified that there was a caterpillar with your salad. The...More

The Coach and Horses on The Green has always been associated with travel and has been providing the families of Croxley Green with journeys since 1744. Whether enjoying lunch on the decking or a beer on the patio, dinner in the restaurant or a quiet pint in front of the fire, The Coach has something for everyone. The larger of the two pubs on the famous Green, it has been lovingly restored to former glories and enjoys an enormous outdoor seating play area for families where you can bask in the warmth of the friendly service. The food served is simple, tasty, hearty and nostalgic with an emphasis on sharing and there is a wonderful range of cask ales, continental beers and a fabulous wine list too.
