Thank you for your kind words. There's nothing better than one of our steak and ale puddings when the weather turns cold. Hopefully we will see you back at the Red Lion soon.

Have eaten at this establishment several times, and have never been disappointed. The bar feels very homely when you walk in, and the service always friendly and swift. I just regret that I don’t get to visit more often.

Great choice of food on the menu, excellent service and very friendly atmosphere. Restaurant area if you want a more formal meal, but the pub part is also dog friendly (water bowl and biscuits provided!). Definitely recommended!

We have eaten countless times at the Red Lion, so we were really looking forward to last night's meal. Surprisingly for a Tuesday, it was very busy serving meals, and the sole waitress/bartender coped very well considering that. We ordered olives, and a selection of...More

I was as disappointed as you to hear of your recent visit to the Lion. As you will know from your many visits the food you were served was far away from our normally high standards. I can only apologise for this. The Rumpole pudding...More
