If you like baby back ribs, this is your place. I am a local and frequent this establishment. Located in the old Wabash Railroad Depot, this place screams history as well as some of the best BarBQ you will ever put between your lips!

Two of us stopped for lunch having heard they had great BBQ! I ordered the Roundhouse sandwich with brisket and sliced pork! My friend ordered the Iron Horse with brisket. Can you say superb? Can you say it was amazing tender? Can you say it was some of the best BBQ? It was all of those!

Good food and portions, most comfortable in jeans and t-shirt. We did a sampler with an extra side, and both had a soda. Under $30.00

Second time eating there- such a great flavor, fair prices- thoroughly enjoyed it both times. We have eaten on both sides of the restaurant- equally enjoyable.

I am writing another review because this place is that good. Living in K C every has their favorites. Mine is Rosedale, but Wabash is creeping up quickly. Love the food and the atmosphere. Not stuffy like some BBQ places can be.

Really great BBQ'ed meat and sauce. I had the Burnt Ends that were all beef. I always get burnt ends at every BBQ place I go, and these were great. The smoke ring was good and the flavor was awesome! Great appetizers! Good selection of beer. Great service and a great atmosphere in an old train depot!

A couple return visits this month after not being in the area for a couple years. Glad to say that the Wabash is still smokin'! The ribs are the highlight, and the pork, and burnt ends - its all good. If I had to pick somethingnot excellent, it would be the slaw - too creamy for me. Beans are above... More

If you are staying at The Elms or are in the historic district, this is a good place to eat. We were there in the evening and were told it would take 30 to 40 minutes to get fries, but we got our food in about 20 minutes. The BBQ was pretty good. I prefer to sauce my own pulled... More
