We've been eating here for years. They do everything GREAT. Alas, today, October 18, 2017, was their final day of business. So sad. We'll miss Big Bear.

Grabbed a carry out chicken dinner on Sunday evening. The place was virtually empty which was unusual. The dinner was not hot. The chicken (all white) was overlooked to the max. Like chicken jerky. They are off the dining list. "You're fired!!!"

Try the pepper potato soup it is great. I had the Ruben it was big and delicious. The service was great.

Excellent fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, but you can pick whatever sides you want. It seemed to me the white gravy came from a can. It was yellow like cream of chicken soup but it tasted good.

This place has lasted for several years ago they are obviously doing things right. The ambience is log cabin like and the cuisine is comfort food. It's an easy stop for a nice low key dinner for a reasonable price.

Typical pub fare with a few twists. Fish sandwich was great. Burgers etc. were above average. Good family ambiance filled with locals.

Locally owned, food and service has always been good. They make you feel welcomed. Love the fireplace in the bar area. Good place to go for apps and drinks or for a full meal!
