I just wanted to comment on how very helpful the staff were here . My aunt and I visited and she is recovering after a hospital admission . She became tired and a little short of breath when we were leaving . We got so...much help with a lovely young gentleman staff member who couldn’t have done more for her . All of the staff and the lady who served us were excellent . Thank you Vic-Ryn for your exceptional customer service your staff are an absolute credit to you .More

Used to visit regularly before Covid, came back today, was supposed to go somewhere else but another family member joined us and I thought she’d have more choice here, I was wrong!!! The portion sizes and menu options have shrunk by at least 50% but...the prices have raised! My decaf coffee may as well have just been a cup of hot milk. Lots of seating available but everyone was escorted to a higher level where stairs are, I noticed several elderly people struggle with these stairs - including a man on a mobility walker 😵 I’m not elderly but have arthritis and I struggled with the stairs, at no point was anyone asked if they were ok or if they wanted to sit elsewhere. Overall we could’ve got a much nicer breakfast, and been full after, somewhere else, for a fraction of price - not somewhere I’d be keen to return to 😵More

This message is to all of the very clever, friendly and talented cafe vic-ryn team. We’ve had family staying over and the first gathering I purchased your super sized pink pavlova, the second gathering I purchased your large chocolate cake. Firstly thank you for helping...me out at such short notice on both occasions. Your on-line ordering and collection worked a treat. Secondly this saved me so much work, not having to chase round for ingredients then having to spend ages in the kitchen and let’s face it, I couldn’t make anything to match your high standards. Lastly, both items were totally delicious and well received. When picking up the chocolate cake we called in for scone/coffee and staff were so friendly with one gentleman going out of his way to go upstairs to lift our cake & keep it behind the counter until we were ready leave. Thank you so very much for helping me out with the best ever desserts and allowing me to spend more time with family.More

Had brunch food- fry and French toast. Food was nicely presented. Staff were friendly. Got served in good time. It is clean. Plenty of choices on the menu. Food was tasty and warm. Best to go early as they are so popular at lunch. Wish...they opened on a MondayMore

Absolutely insane prices for a cafe. £13 for loaded fries? What planet are they on? I've been coming here for years but the prices are insane now. £12 for a fry? Wise up.

Went for breakfast this morning and was greeted and very well looked after by a blonde Polish girl. Sorry I didn't get her name, but she was so polite and friendly without being patronising. I have been here several times before, but she made this...morning special. We'll be back more often.More

Were looking forward to visiting Vic-ryn but, sad to say, not impressed. £6.60 for an indifferent/small piece of lemon Victoria sponge - now that is a total rip off. Definitely not worth the 10 mile drive.

I went in today and bought a takeaway,two slices of cake, It cost with my discount £10.80 a total disgrace, no cake slices in the world would be this expensive ….never again, how can they justify their extortionate prices…

Total failure to control access meant we were stood like lemons by the Wait to be seated sign while others who ignored it meandered around like lost souls. Food was fine but definately not £5-10 range!

I ordered a picnic with Vic Ryn. What a picnic? So lovely done with two big baskets of food and play dough for the kids. Sandwiches, scones, tray bakes, sweets and so much more. It's well worth the money the kids and friends loved it....Thank u so much for doing it for us a 2nd time. XoMore
