We accidentally came across this place; it’s totally worth seeking out...Jacks Place is the bar part and then there are various food stalls around. So you can sit at the tables, get drinks from Jacks, and buy from the various food vendors. The food prices...are very economical. And it’s SO much quieter than on the Centro area by just walking a few blocks.More
Stopped by last night. It was a bit confusing to order food from the various vendors and drinks from the bar. In the end we found out that each restaurant is an independent and you pay each separately for what you order. We sampled food...from each and drank from the bar and had to pay 4 times. It wasn’t clear that it wasn’t going to be on a single tab. (We actually walked out not knowing we owed). But we love the concept.m and hope they are wildly successful. They have a great venue for music. It would be great to see them become the go-to place for local music.More
We visited Sayulita in June 2019 for 2 weeks and discovered Jack's Place a few days in. We went twice because it was so good the first time. Friendly staff, clean bathrooms and lots of open space. The only suggestion I would give is to...have a consolidated payment process. Jack's encompasses several separate restaurants and a bar, and although they wait on you as opposed to having to self serve, you pay each restaurant separately. It would be nice to pay all on one bill. That being said it would not deter me from going back. Very fun place!More
I've been to Sayulita many times but have never had the pleasure of going to Jack's Place. I found out about them through friends we'd met on vacation. I was desperate to find a place to watch the Game of Thrones series finale, and luckily...Jack's Place provided the perfect environment for it. They had the TV going, plenty of viewing space, and a solid menu and full bar. They were very friendly, not demanding at in regards to ordering drinks, and were overall very generous in opening up their space for the horde of GoT viewers that came in.More

This is a fantastic bar surrouned by food stalls. Great idea for a group of friends. We had the burgers and the pizza (from two different stalls). Both outstanding and priced right. The setting is casual. Jack's has also been the setting for many fundraisers...that help the town in many many way.More

We went almost every night during our trip. We took a Salsa dance class and eat the best carne empeñadas at a very good price. The staff was very friendly and make sure that every night was perfect!! Thanks to Pancho & Ricardo, and to...the Argentina cantina so good.More

We had delicious wood fired pizza and the best hamburger we have ever eaten. A fun atmosphere and with lots for the kids to do while we enjoyed our meal. The prices were great ~ don't believe the high $$$ rating.

Happened upon Jack's Place and so glad we did. Located along the main road coming into Sayulita (not too far from downtown centro), it boasts a large open courtyard with plenty of tables nestled in the rock- garden like atmosphere. In the evening, strings of...festoon lighting provides a soft glow over the dining area. Although not complete (during our visit) the perimeter is set up to be a food court concept. Individual vendors prepare different types of food from a variety of cultures. There's something that will appeal to everyone. Along one side is a beautiful outdoor bar with tables and chairs, bar stools and lounge seating where you can enjoy a drink while watching your favorite show or sporting event on the extra big TV. There is an open-air, second level that looks down over the courtyard. There is live music on certain nights and daily specials. There was karaoke the night we visited. We ordered margaritas and they were some of the best we've ever tasted. Ernesto was our waiter and he was outstanding!! He spoke excellent English and was helpful in giving us insight and advice about Sayulita and Puerto Vallarta. Definitely ask for Ernesto. We ordered brick oven pizza topped with 3 meats. It only took about 15 to get and was it ever good! Thin crispy crust, the kind where you eat every last morsel. The sauce had the best flavor. There's only 1 size and it easily fed 2 of us. We also ordered the empanada from the Argentinian place and that too was really tasty. They host fun events too. On an upcoming evening there is going to be a fund-raiser for animals so everyone can bring their dog(s). I can tell you that there will be a lot of them. This town is full of dogs, many that run free on the streets (although they belong to someone) and have never seen a single one bother anyone. In fact they go about their business and don't pay much attention to people. This place is going to catch fire since the people running it are great and the whole place is well-designed. Don't miss out on this GEM!More

Stopped in for a quick pre-dinner margarita and had one of the best I’ve had in Sayulita. The venue is a fun courtyard with multiple food vendors with a wide selection of options. We arrived too early for dinner, but look forward to dropping back...in to expand our experience. If your in Sayulita- Jacks is worth a try!More
